SC has always felt amazing to me but seeing footage like this and how ships fly and having played flight sims at the same time, Star Citizen really screams arcade-y. Takes out the immersion for me often imo
@@Aki-ow9hd well in this precise case it's low gravity places so it gives much more freedom (maybe not Daymar) that you would on 1g places. But you're right anyway, Star Citizen isn't about realism but immersion.
@@Aki-ow9hd Same. Objects flying this fast, with these shapes shouldn't be able to fly sideways. There should be massive vapor cloud over the wings and around the body. Some got rudders lol, what's their purpose ?
@@treeblockstudios8981 Yeah let's not forget ships have many thrusters all around and have to go decoupled to be able to act more like a plane but yet the mastermodes doesn't have the atmo features we want and saw.
@Sk3rty much much MUCH smaller maneuvering thrusters, much heavier vehicles, and the thrust is concentrated at the rear on almost all ships of course theyll drift through the air most aren't even aerodynamic
@@treeblockstudios8981 Yes as i said earlier, mastermodes aren't complete en we didn't get any atmo features yet. The placeholder is really bad that's real, i have no idea if a wind simulation is planned ? but if yes, this should come in the first place i suppose. But i do think in 0g or near that you're just a drifting ball with thruster all around and a big main one that is in fact the strongest.
@@Shaded What a lovely comment, I appreciate so much. That night I looked for an editing software and started cooking. I tried to make something less "raw" and boring. For looking around as you say, I'm using a Track IR which is something that reproduce and can amplify or smoothen your heads movements. Can be used in FPS and Camera mode so if you manage to get used to it, it's handy and very immersive tbh.
Had the same issue, since the borderless fullscreen mode of the game got updated it breaks fps when Vulkan is on, i suggest you try turning to DX11, it fixed my frames.
@@Desenrad are you sure ? For me, one split my frames by 2 the other is fine. Idk what's your rig but souds like there is something to find in your scenario
In the first few clips I was the person in front of you I'm pretty sure. Nice flying with you! 🔥
This starts to look amazing, lets see how long until we can just play the entire thing without having to follow 5 guides 😆
cant wait for rtx5090 and 9950x3d for this
rn i'm on a 7900x3D with a 6900XT. But the brand new x3D from AMD is a beast i want in my pokedex.

time to low fly when they bring the polaris into live
Now this is pod racing
water in my eyes
Bro when are they gonna make flying in atmo actually realistic tho lmao, this is like ice boats in minecraft vs beamNG
they aren't planes...

Sweet vid and song combo.
Nice vid! Thanks for sharing
loving the vibes of this vid! What are you using to look around? Soo smooth!

Sorry I usually don't forget such things
@@Sk3rty ima put this on at work to prove I'm classy
Imegane doing that in 144fps...
Imagine ? would be dream yeah !
This is not a dream anymore, new ryzen beast and 5090 can do this fps
Then you can die in peace
I used to have this kind of fps. Now i can’t get above 30 in space. CIG ruined the game for me.

@ 10700K, 3080 OC 10 GB, 64 GB RAM. The last thing I haven’t tried is running starcitizen under a new windows install.
definitely should be better in space. That cpu isn't gonna destroy around planets and landing zones but 30 in space is some 3.0 shit
