Such a weird scene. Disturbing, yet almost Monty Python-esque with the blood splattering everywhere and the surreal convo leading up to it. In other words, its a great scene.
I learned the other day that he's used a completely different accent in every movie he's been in (besides the two Batman movies). That takes real talent.
I love how at 1:43 only half is face is covered in blood and the other half is untouched. It shows the 2 sides to Patrick Bateman, the insane killer and the apperance conscious yuppie.

Anyone else think Bale sounds a bit like Jim Carry at some points? And the whole moonwalk thing actually looks like something Jim Carry would do while portraying a psychopath, though he'd probably take it a bit further. This is an awesome movie.
Funny bit of Trivia about this movie. The part of Bateman was at one point going to go to Leonardo Di Caprio, but Bale won the role. Or so it's said. I don't think the film would be the same without him.
Bateman is the perfect antithesis to Bale's Bruce Wayne. Both are upstanding businessmen with dark alter-egos. Where Wayne is a defender of right, Bateman is the one who commits horrible acts of violence. I find it a little ironic that Bale plays two different characters who are actually pretty similar.
