Didn't like the Meter it feels like cheap tablet is fixed there and front cowl/visor is ugly. price should be ~1.2L with charger
They should give onboard navigation using our Phone's hotspot, dual battery charging simultaneously when taken out to home
they could have fixed the Headlight instead of ugly cowl
Hi I am planning to buy a ev scooter but confused between vida v1 pro and ather 450x HR..vida is around 1.5 right now in Bangalore which is around 30000 cheaper than ather..range of both are more or less same..i am looking for a long lasting reliable ev scooter which will give less trouble n less range anxiety..plz suggest..

People are saying Vida have removable Battery, The same Okinawa also has all Models with less pricing
Okinawa is not a reputable brand and some of their EV'S have caught fire. Hero is reputable

Hi Pradeep,
Today I took the test ride of the scooter.
1. They have taken some visitors parking space in the basement. May be one can use that ( if space is available).
2. Comfortable for tall rider ( in the sense knee won't touch the handle bar).
3. With pillion, in eco mode, the initial pickup was not there.
4. Front mudguard, ( back side of front wheel is completely open and cables are visible).
5. Mirror placement is not convenient. Its exactly above the handle bar and tall Rider's can't see anything

We get a decent petrol scooter at 85-90k
Pay 70k more for saving petrol??
No man the range is not that much
It will provide range around 110km per charge
So I think it's not value for money
Because if u calculate the money u spend on petrol is less than u because u paid 70k more for an EV thinking that saved petrol money no man
What ather should do with Gen 4, the following:
1. Increase the God damn range man.
2. Get rid of that seat, it's utterly uncomfy.
3. If possible, that extra range must be a swappable battery.
4. Cruise control, even though it doesn't make sense in city traffic, but extended range do bring possibilities to ride over highways, that's where it shines.

Good thing is that many features with removable battery. Many disadvatages with non removable battery who stays in apartments
True . In cities like Mumbai where everyone lives in apartments it's a better choice..
+ If you live in a rented house you can still use it without any setup

Seriously that rear end is the only complain. I haven't ridden it yet...but I can tell it has a good ride quality...will keep calling the dealer here in Siliguri until they bring it.

Nice video brother. I love all ur content on EV. It's very informative. See am from Hyderabad. I have a request to you because I felt people like you only can share our feelings to service providers. All my request is all the EV are coming upfront in banglore city only. We from other cities are waiting for long time and we are not able to have a experience of these bikes. So my request is to pls tell them to start the initial experience centre in all major cities. I hope you understand my request. I always wait for your new videos.

Did the test ride on a not so good road
1. Bike is more balanced, riding at 9kmph you can still keep the bike steady and easy to weave through traffic
2. Range shown on the scooter was 95km at 91% battery but it was a test vehicle.
3. Three charging options available including ather grid. Which is what made me choose this bike.
4. Pillion riding is smooth and suspension feels good.
5. Dual battery means more reliability even they have an aux battery under the foot board.
6. Google maps will be coming in future in the dashboard.

I was gonna buy Ola, cancelled the booking then was considering Ather since the past few days but have decided to wait till mid next year, as I’m not able to get myself to pay so much for Ather!

Hero is share holder in ather so they shared the charging ports
Even ola also using same type charger. all ev suppliers are fixed for same uniform ports become revolution like Mobil Type C charger😁

Price is a point which will come asa setback and don't know why they r not providing disc rear brakes to a product at this price as almost it is a common thing nowadays 😭
They have a motor mounted to a tyre. So don't have space to put disc brake at the back

The logic of changing modes not being practical is something I cannot grasp? I have an Ather 450X and I ride at Sports mode, and still get a 23 Whr with projected range of 143Km most of the time.

I am having both iqube and vida, both are excellent scooters. While buying vida i watched many ownership reviews in RUclips, which were not much positive, still i bought it because of the 35 thousand discount for divali festival. And thereafter i understood we shouldn't believe the ownership reviews.

Yesterday I went Hero Vida Experience center and they said 105 kms is actual range which we get for Vida V1 Pro where they have mentioned 165 kms as IDC
The pricing is the problem due to range. Better but is ola s1.

When I am paying so much, why to go for such odd looking vehicle? It looks like some local inexperienced mechanic assembled it by sourcing parts of various scooters. Hero needs to work on making it better looking vehicle. They certainly don't have to reinvent wheel..can copy / take inspiration from design of petrol scooters
