Still my favorite ARPG. I've kept it installed on my PC basically since release even when I'm not playing it. I've never tried Synergies, as I prefer mods that keep it mostly stock with some visual or quality of life changes, I do use the Unearthed Arcana mod (last updated 2018), which kinda feels like they tried to 'complete' the game, fixing various things left not quite right by the Devs, enabling things they found disabled or incomplete in the code and adding on some new endgame features.
What I didn't like about Synergies is that it was too generous with loot drops. I really liked how the base game took a lot more time to build a character and finding legendary loot was much more satisfying as it was actually quite rare.
