  • This video provides a step-by-step guide on how to remove and install the cover on the front seat cushion of a Mercedes-Benz W205 or W253 vehicle. The process involves removing the door trim side pieces, the basic carrier, and the lower retainers of the cover. The seat cushion and thigh support covers are replaced. Why do you think we need close ups of the installer? We aren't here searching for locals in our area.

My 2017 350 d glc amg 36000 miles needs the seat side cushion replacing as the top has delaminated from the threads, I can’t believe that the seats are made from VINYL this is a poor show from a so called premium manufacturer commanding premium prices

my 2016 GLC driver seat decided to start tearing under my right leg - used a puncture repair kit and some 'elastic' glue to stop it spreading. Very dissapointed with seat covering - vinal.......

@@sideshowb0b176 this is my first MB and certainly my last, the only thing it has going for it is it’s looks that’s where it stops, when I was looking for my retirement present which this is, I wanted an Audi sq5 plus but couldn’t find one with the spec I wanted, I sold my 2008 a6 avant tdi with 190000 miles which was in immaculate condition inside and out ( real leather seats ) I don’t think Mercedes’ are as robust or as well built as an Audi, needless to say I’m on the lookout for an sq5 plus

@@daveallsopp320 I understand how you feel. I enjoy the drive, can't compare it to an Audi, never drove one, but have serious doubts whether the next car will be a merc.

      Undo 4 bolts basically.
Recommend if you have electric seats to extend the thigh support before you remove it. Then disconnect the battery and leave for 10 mins before unplugging the seat or you WILL have airbag codes to clear afterwards.
Oh and protection the sill areas with something to prevent damage
