First fall calves of 2023 are on the ground. Feeding hay due to dry conditions.

So far we are off to a good start on 2023 fall calving. Due to dry conditions, we have decided to set out hay to supplement for the lack of grass.

Very dry here, 30 acres of standing corn burnt 2 weeks ago, sparked by cover crop seeding, tillage stopped it. But have had 2" of rain since yesterday
