- A cover version of the song "Disobedient" from Steven Universe: The Movie, written and recorded by Mike Krol and Rebecca Suger.
Mike Krol is freaking awesome, and a major influence on my music, and he's actually had a few songs of his featured in Steven Universe already, so as I was watching the movie and falling in love with pretty much its entire soundtrack and all the songs, I kinda lost my mind the second I heard the first chord from here and could INSTANTLY tell that Krol was involved! He's not a flashy player but his tone is unmistakable! I'm probably gonna cover a whole bunch of other songs from the movie because it was freaking amazing (and probably get through my backlog of Mike Krol songs I wanna cover because I'm a total fanboy) but I just knew I HAD to cover this one! I hope you all enjoy this as much as I loved rocking out to this jam!

Thank you! I was actually worried because I couldn't get the kind of high screaming sound that Sadie has in the movie since my voice is much lower, so I'm glad you actually liked my version!

awesome cover! i love this song, its a shame the original is so short without the talking parts. i love how u lengthened it with the guitar solo, super cool and it really tied the song together and made it legit! the visuals look sick as well!
Thanks! It's always fun to see what I can add to a song, if anything! I'm glad you think my little solo actually fit, solos are pretty hard for me so I try to make sure they fit in with the song and the feeling they bring out!

Maybe I'll do a full tutorial one day, though I'm kinda short on time these days. I can write out the chords though, but I can't write proper tabs in a comment or anything so sorry if it seems confusing.
All the chords are power chords, so as long as you can make that chord shape, you can slide it around and play the whole song like that.
Verse:

You play that twice for the intro, then twice for the verse.
Chorus:

I'm not gonna write the solo out here, maybe for if I ever make a proper tutorial. If you know how, you can improvise something in the E pentatonic scale and it will work fine. It's a punky garage rock song, so the simpler the solo, the better.
