@@wiezyczkowata I think it started for him with Ex Machina, when he played such a sweet, sweet character and then did a bunch of hilarious interviews with Oscar Isaac, who was the other star of that movie. In fact, I'm sure it's Oscar's influence coming out in Domnhnal when Dom suggests General Hux might fall in love with General Pryde.

@@nelly2722 oof long story, I don't know if you've seen any of this... First he made a quite disrespectful joke about Rey (someone told him that now that Ben died, Finn had a chance and he answered:《it is not about who she kisses, it is about who lays the pipe》. Reylos then reacted (and I'm not sure it was only reylos tbh) and then a war started bc of all of that, John made an ig video where he shoots reylos tweets (he didn't even hide usernames) and anti-reylos started to send menaces (I even saw death menaces...) To reylos that were in the video.
Now personally I respect every ship, every actor, and every opinion; but I hate that we're threatened because we like a CANON SHIP...

domnhall told adam’s joke on the happy sad confused podcast but it’s basically in the table scene in tros where kylo is trying to find the rat instead of saying his lines he quotes the last supper with jesus and hux was judas. a lot more funny when domnhall says it at around minute 40 of the podcast

KMT is so cute and such a sweetheart. She did not deserve the bullying she received after the TLJ. Those people were nothing but cowards
the makers of the movie are equally to blame. Why were all the other characters given significant roles with a cool look, whilst she was given the worst haircut in cinematic history, like who the fuck did they expect to dress up as her for halloween etc or buy her toys, she was not only done dirty by fans, it all started with the makers
Anup H. Because Rose wasn’t supposed to be this cool, badass fighter. She was a mechanic who’s role was to help Finn in character development and contribute to the theme of thoughtfulness in leadership, as well as finding strength in herself. No, she’s not one of the top 3 characters, but that in no way warrants the bullying she received.

No, she didnt have to be a badass necessarily but also did not deserve to look soo fucking goofy, and damn, u can't deny that her character was ultimately incredibly goofy and somewhat pointless, proven by the fact that her character development was stunted going froward and was utterly under-utilised in the recent movie, like what did she actually do? she was on screen for like 1 minute altogether. It was at the end of the day about representation. Little white girls can look up to Rey, copy her unique hairstyle and dress up for halloween. Little asian girls deserve the same and this was a great opportunity to give them that, but when was the last time u saw little girls dressed up as rose tico in disneyworld, or during halloween? I get she wasn't supposed to be a badass but making her a useless bumbling idiot (not saying the acstress is but her character) was somewhat annoying in my opinion. Even as a side character, they could have made her more appealing.
Anup H. Eh, I guess her “appeal” is a matter of opinion then. She was actually the most thoughtful and level-headed in TLJ and was the most crucial in the Canto Byte mission (if anything, that scene is the problem, not her character.) And the whole reason she wasn’t in TROS much was the same reason Jar-Jar was toned down in AOTC: The fans hated and bullied both the character and actor so much the director decided to remove the root of it all together. But I never saw her as “goofy.” Not everyone in Star Wars needs to be some sort of warrior.
And in TLJ, Finn, Rose, and Poe all had a “pointless” second act. It was to provide a character arc and help them and the audience grow. The only reason Rose was singled out was that she didn’t have a previous movie to back her up. But as TLJ says, “The greatest teacher, failure is.” Just because Rose’s mission didn’t succeed doesn’t mean she was portrayed as weak, useless, or goofy by the directors.
The only thing more entertaining than Kelly and Naomi's excitement is how desperate Domhnall Gleeson was to get them all right.
Naomi and Kelly are so so lovely and are having so much fun in this interview, it makes me so happy to have them in the franchise 🥰🥰🥰

I find it odd that half of them didn’t know (had to cheat, Hux) some of the easiest questions then you have someone like Henry Cavill that talks about lines from the books from The Witcher novels in his interviews. One respects the universe they’re walking into, the others are just passing through.
