@03LancerDude: yes. good first bike. i am 6-1, 245. but will will outgrow it fast. i bought a vtx1300c w/in 8 months of buying my magna. but it was fun to ride
I have a set of these Jardine pipes fror sale, My wife rides the bike now and we put the stock pipes on . Pipes are in great shape, we also have stock seats, [2] in great shape, for sale.
@dgutierrez515 certainly is, bit the bullet and went out cpl of days ago and bought her back home, shes definitely not underpowered, cruises around nicely at 5k revs and after that it just gets very scary very quickly :) ill post up a video next couple of days
This is a pretty old video, so I don’t know if you see the comments or still have the bike, but do you know the diameter of these pipes? Looking to build a custom set but don’t know what size pipe to use
@BongoOldChap The pipes give a little more pep with the throttle. You won't be disappointed! Always fun and mean in the twisties! I already took mine to the Tail of the Dragon in TN/NC and it ate it up like nothing!
@Friskyybanana To be honest I think they stopped manufacturing these pipes years back. Now if you want a set of Jardine pipes you gotta find someone selling a set. I had them on there when I got the bike! If you cant find a set, Vance & Hines makes a good set too. Loud but not too loud.
that sounds awesome dude!!......i looking for a magna but...they don't sound that good stock...a bit booring almost...i think a big fat twin will always sound better, but this comes pretty damn close...nice man!
@jongolihoot I dont see the point in running it when its not moving to beat up on the engine. If I get a chance this week Ill try to get someone to get some video going up and down the street.
@dgutierrez515 that sucks. You might want more power, but at the same token, its not underpowered at all. Keeps up with 1300's just fine. And its soooo pretty.
@MrTaurus00 They are hella hard to find. Jardine doesnt make them anymore. I would say try to find a used set from someone, or go with the Vance and Hines set. They sound pretty beefy, but not as loud. Mine sound so much better in person and its amazing getting up in the rpm's
@dgutierrez515 Yeah? so you still got the bike a year on and youre still loving it? Damn, theres a 2000 in black with low miles in superb condition over here, guy wants $5.5k for it though and Im really tempted
i have a 1996 vf750cd. the front head light cowling/fairing had been removed and straight pipes that look very similar to what you have here. i bought the bike from local bike dealer in columbus ga. the bike is more than ear bleedingly loud to the point and fact i wear hearing protection. i love the unique sound of my ride but i feel like the work was done less than perfect. if there are any other mods you made like jetting and fuel management system would you let me know
They are on the loud side, I would say its sounds to a small block car. Very nice sounding. Not too overpowering.
I have a magna with cobra pipes and you need to rev that shit up man. You make it sound like grandma rides that thing.
I’ll buy them
I ride the 2001 magna. Wished it sounded like this!!!
Superb sound! 😎

Congrats, you used 20% of its rpm range! Clap clap for you.
sound sweet
@03LancerDude I would try to sit one one. I would say for your size to go for a nice 1300 vtx or something similar.
@BongoOldChap Runs amazing. I've come close to trading it in for a 919 and then that new CB1000 but dont have the heart to get rid of it.
that sounds awesome dude!!......i looking for a magna but...they don't sound that good stock...a bit booring almost...i think a big fat twin will always sound better, but this comes pretty damn close...nice man!
@BongoOldChap 5.5 is on the high side. I got mine for 3700 with 8 something thousand miles.
@jongolihoot I dont see the point in running it when its not moving to beat up on the engine. If I get a chance this week Ill try to get someone to get some video going up and down the street.
I can't find hardline pipes for the magna anywhere, just for the shadow. How'd you find yours?
Hey where did you find those pipes?? I got a 2002 like the sound of yours.
