I love seeing this man come to recognize what a truly remarkable artist Keith Urban really is. This song is a great example of just how remarkable Keith Urban is as a guitarist, a vocalist, and a songwriter! He's also a good human!! Go see the movie Act of Valor! It'll mean even more!!
This is extra special since Keith isn't even an American And he is speaking for the soldiers & what they are feeling & sacrificing for us. He did this to raise money for military families & made zero on this one. Donated all proceeds to them. Only people with military backgrounds can understand this. My Dad, Uncles, both brothers, & many cousins & friends etc. served & when they serve, so do their families. Keith is an amazing performer & this is an amazing song.
Yes! The sacrifices that soldiers make for our country, their fellow soldiers and their families. As for Keith Urban’s amazing guitar skills, he & Brad Paisley are considered two of the best, not only in Country Music but in all genres.
Being an American, which,by the way, Keith Urban is an American Citizen and an Australian citizen, he, like his wife, Nicole Kidman-Urban, has dual citizenship, has little to do with this incredible tribute to the men and women of the armed forces who put their lives on the line for their country's safety. The song was written for the movie, "Act of Valor" by Keith Urban and Marty Powell. I respect this Keith Urban song more than any of his songs, to date!
Great reaction! He was describing being wounded at the beginning of the song, and questioned if he had made a mistake being a soldier because he was thinking of his wife and unborn child if he was to die from his wounds. Love Keith Urban! One of my favorite songs is "You'll Think of Me", it's from early in his career and showcases his beautiful voice! Love from Texas 🤠
It's a great song and you should see the movie (Act of Valor) that this song was made for. It's a great movie with the characters being played by real Navy Seals which makes action scenes so convincing. The dialog scenes not so much (because they're not trained actors) but still well worth the watch. I'd recommend having a watch of his live version of "Everybody". It's one of my favourites which he beautifully sings and he even gets teary eyed at the end. Or if you want a fun song check out his duet with Brad Paisley called "Start a Band".
So this song is the soundtrack for the movie Act Of Valor It is the only movie casting real Active duty navy seals. Check out the movie if you have a chance

It's about the sacrifice soldiers make giving their lives for family and brother's on the battlefield.

Want to see a funny video with both is Start a Band! Shows off both their skills.
The movie Act of Valor is really good. Also, stars true Navy Seals.
