- got this very cool alien figure from aliexpress a figma KO ! an yes it is a bit small but it looks so good . i love alien an its one of my best movie monster up there with predator !! i am not sure what scale it is so i am not sure what figures it will fit with ? it based on the art of Takayuki Takeya .

Got the same knock off on wish for 20 bones, and love it. Oddly the facehugger has a pinker inside like you wanted. My alien is well made and very posable, no loose hand or anything. Love it and worth saving the money.
It's a very cool figure I love the Alien movies ! I gave my face hugger a pink wash an it looks a bit better. the KO figures are getting a lot better !!
For a big chap he is smaller than I thought he would be! ;) Maybe it would scale better with 3.75 inch figures? Even 6 inch it seems too small. but it's a well done figure and i do like that the face hugger has swappable tail. Shame it's didn't come with one you could put on other figures faces.
I found out looking at the box that's what the wrapped tail is for take off a head pug that round the neck an put head back !! Its a very nice little chap an I really don't know what figures it will go with !
To fix all the joints you would just replace on think that would be a good way to make them a bit sturdier

You were very correct when saying, "It has the right look." That classic alien sneer. It's a better look than the Neca. I bought it after watching this.
Its a shame its not as big as the neca figures but its still a nice figure
The only reason it looks better than the NECA version is that is because NECA's is the exact same design as the original movie design, while Figma's is based on a design made by Director and artist Takayuki Takeya. You might know him by his works on the live action Zeiram movies, Moon over Tao and the live action Garoh Series. He designed the creatures and his designs are extremely cool. His design of the original Alien Xenomorph referred to as Big Chap is a tiny improvement on the already cool design by the original ALIEN designer, the late H. R. Giger. NECA's Alien is very great looking on itself.

The stand works well for if you pose him jumping. I have mine in the background jumping towards my diamond select city hunter predator

I bought one of these off of Ebay last year and including a discount which I had, it cost £10.56.
I absolutely love it although I had issues with the left shoulder socket popping out... but it turned out to be a little excess plastic on the seam and once it was trimmed it gave no more problems.
I might actually remove the badly applied brown wash and redo it and I'll have an excellent addition to the collection.
That's a great price and this is a great figure. Glad you got that shoulder fixed 👍
I would give the xenomorph body a good dry brush of grey to bring out the detail more

I got this bootleg alien to, but it snapped and broke when i barely moved it... and it costed $50!
That's such a shame mine is really well made and has survived a few falls from the shelf !!

He is small, but the newly hatched aliens in the Alien vs Predator film are smaller than usual so he'd be ideal for recreating those scenes. Great review, thanks!

Yep for the price it a fun little figure ! An it's my favorite look for the alien creatures.
@@Returnoftherocketman yeah I ordered it and took a gamble it's payed off glad you reviewed this figure .at that price it's tempting to buy a few more and try different paint jobs but like you said it captures the first film vibe quite well
An that's the great thing about this figures there so cheap you can build a hive you know like bees ......or you can repaint without damaging your wallet to much or worrying about damaging an £80 figure.

I would have gotten this but unfortuately where I live, I would have to pay a lot for Ali express to deliver it. I might as well get the real thing if I am going through so much trouble which I have, it was on sale.

I get this Knockoff version and the blue tongue inside the mouth cant pulled out, cant u help me with this problem bro?
Only advice I can give is try putting the head in very hot water and see if it loosens it up

I got one of these thanks to your review and its great but the leg came off, and unlike yours, the leg came off and the wee joint bit inside detached too so the leg won't go back in because the joint won't hold it, and the joint won't stay in the actual body, argh! Any hints on how to fix it at all? I'm a bit rubbish at such things :(
Looking at my figure you could maybe superglue that bit back in if the hole bit has come out . But do it with the legs removed just in case .
@@Returnoftherocketman - oh now see, I didn't think of that, as separate element's, I'd have just put both bits back in.. am arguing with the seller about a replacement but English isn't their first language so its getting nowhere... I might give up and just try and fix it, never thought of doing it that way. Hmm. Thankyou!
