Whatever I have said in this video is what I understood and interpreted of the judgement by the honorable Supreme Court... You may have a different interpretation and opinion... When I went through the 33 page judgement after the release of this video, I found certain things which are quite unclear and somewhat confusing... Why didn't they go one step ahead and also removed caste based reservation for neet pg atleast it doesn't even make sense how can a doctor be considered backward either socially or economically

I’m from GMCH Chandigarh. We (MBBS students in CHD college)are allowed to enter IP pool only (25%) and UT pool (25%)is domicile based .People with Chandigarh domicile and studying in HP,Punjab ,Haryana colleges avail 50% in their respective college state and also take unfair advantage in Chandigarh.We have just one state college in Chd and this is pure injustice.This year people from our college got seats through All India Quota but couldn’t get the same branch in our own college through State Quota because of these domicile students.A student with better rank is suffering. Indeed a very good decision.
Bro I have one concern. Why did the judge mention about domicile being acceptable in MBBS when there were only AIQ and State quota in NEET UG?
The state quota in mbbs is mostly based on domicile itself...while the state quota of PG is mostly based on whether the person has done MBBS from that particular state irrespective of his residence
To ismein student should get only one reservation. E.g.
If a U.P. student does+2 from delhi he will get reservation for both delhi and U.P. in MBBS.
It should also be removed
What about language barriers.... ragging and toxic environment...Interaction with patients Will hamper a lot with patient care , diagnosis and treatment.

I think this other way round, means state qouta completely scrapped by this decision n,no 50-50 .since verdict is self explanatory that we all are indian domicile and can pursue our specialization degree any where from india.
So far as I have understood, State quota will remain but domicile quota within it is no longer applicable as I have explained

Please don't make further confusion. State quota in most of the states were domicile based. Now any Indian student can get admission in any states on merit basis

Bro only domicile based reservation is scrapped...state quota will remain as per my understanding....giving preference/reservation to those who have studied mbbs from the same state will still be there..so if u have done mbbs from Andhra...u will continue to get seat preference in Andhra as per state quota as it happened previously too... I don't think u won't be able to use ur OBC reservation there...

According to my understanding, Any residence based reservation is now not valid for neet pg...however can't be said with surety especially for j&k...only time will tell what will happen

@AtulKrVaibhavAIIMS What if "domicile" simply refers to state quotas? It's important to note that most states-aside from a few in the south-didn't even have a domicile quota before this verdict. If the focus was truly on the state domicile quota for just 4-5 states, the Court wouldn't be stressing that "WE'RE ALL DOMICILED IN INDIA. THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A PROVISIONAL OR STATE DOMICILE."
I personally don't think someone as big as the Supreme court would make a big fuss about it If They were just Gonna scrape off Domicile Quota in the State Quota.
I feel like this is way more complicated than it seems. It looks like they’re hinting at a full-on AIQ with certain category reservations specific to that state.
I'm Quoting a Few Quotes From The Judge Which is hinting Towards Scrapping State Quota.
We are all domiciled in the territory of India. We are all residents of India. Our common bond as citizens and residents of one country gives us the right not only to choose our residence anywhere in India but also gives us the right to carry on trade & business or a profession anywhere in India," LiveLaw quoted Justice Dhulia as saying.
A three-judge bench comprising Justices Hrishikesh Roy, Sudhanshu Dhulia, and SVN Bhatti asserted that state quota seats must be filled solely based on merit as determined by the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
I think The whole Quote about All of us being domiciled in india and having the right to Choose our residence and business anywhere in india is Hinting Towards 💯 % AIQ however states will Handle counseling for 50% But It would be open to Anyone with Respective seats of reservation Category.
Also they stressed on " STATE QUOTA SEATS MUST BE FILLED SOLEY ON Merit by NEET" what exactly do They mean by This?
How exactly would it be merit driven when Only Ex UG students of that particular State can participate in the counselling?
Also when They Quoted "while some degree of residence-based reservation might be acceptable for undergraduate courses like MBBS, it is not permissible for higher-level PG courses due to the critical need for specialised doctors" it is more and more Hinting Towards 100% AIQ as DM/M.ch Have already full on AIQ.
Also Only 4-5 south indian States were providing Domicile Quota Such as Andhra, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Telangana Rest all states Didn't even have Domicile Quota in state Quota even before This verdict.
So, if it was Just about the Domicile Quota regarding These concerned states Then Supreme would have Called out the High courts of These particular states, As the state Governments have final say in Their State quotas.
These are just a few observations i have made from Yesterday's verdict!

@@AtulKrVaibhavAIIMSno, other state students like Bihar,Odisha etc were not getting any state quota. But , students of WB , Maharashtra were getting state quota according to their domicile. Now the domicile will be removed. If I knew earlier, I wouldn’t have opt for AIIMS.

@@AtulKrVaibhavAIIMS I dont agree with you. Local governments should work for local people and not for distant people otherwise what is the point of having a separate state government? Our state created colleges from local tax base so in this case we should charge more to students from other states which may not be fair. Note 50% is already given to All India Quota.

In west bengal all students from AIIMS Kalyani got state quota? I don't think so...state quota is for state medical colleges...if anyone studying in those central colleges got it then it would have been due to domicile...if those admissions were based on domicile then such admissions would not take place from future...this is what I understood
