Great! I love your videos and I'm learning a lot watching and rewatching them. Can I ask you to paint Earth Dragon o River Dragon? They are very big and I think you can combine a good mix of colour...
No I did not, for two reasons. 1) W&N use a single "guide hair" in the middle that gets in the way and ends up with a small dot of dried paint on it. 2) I've written off all real hair bushes after trying a few other brands. They are very delicate so with my painting style they lose their tip within just a few minis (sometimes after just a single mini). The Army Painter synthetic ones are cheaper, hold a tip much longer, and when they do finally lose it a don't feel bad replacing it.
@@TheKingofAverage thanks for the reply. I'll look into Army Painter a little more. Also random tangential question: I see that you backed Reichbusters. What mini are you wanting to paint most? What hero do you think you'll play first?
Hah no way, it's in every one of my videos (actually I think I did forget once) but I am glad you noticed it ;) Actually, that show of my primer I only filmed once and I just reuse it in each video. Trust me, it's mot my asked question on the channel lol - thankfully I'm not the only one with that issue, grey is hard for viewers! instagram.com/p/BhuUWFxHXKj/?taken-by=rabid_dog_studios
To get a similar effect I'd just pick a middle-light yellow/green. Something like Hemp Rope (also known as Goblin Skin) by Army Painter would work well. Then, if you have it, some brush on glossy varnish after a matte varnish will make it that sort of sickly shininess. You could also mix your own yellow and green, just pick a dull color of each instead of vibrant ones. If you are just wanting to buy Vomit then it'll cost you about $6 online for quick shipping: amzn.to/2HR4PHA I do not have a store in my area that sells the Vallejo effect paints sadly so this was my option. EDIT: An alternative to the brush on varnish btw would be to simply paint it on after a normal matte varnish. The only part I could see being an issue is on the tops of the heads and the fact that it wouldn't quick have the same shiny look to it, but it's look appropriately more "wet" than the varnished paint.
Really cool how you painted it, but i would have put more red maybe for shes crying blood or something. Fun fact jinmenju's head fruit are said to be almost smiling i dont know if its more creepy or less 😂
Sweet 1st view, thanks for doing these I'm so exhorted for this game and to start painting them.
Congrats! :D Are you having the game shipped or something? I hope you can start painting it soon as they are a *blast* to have painted!
Nice dude! Looks good!
Thanks man! I had a lot of fun painting him. I really enjoy "dirtying" miniatures up, like armor or this vomit tree here lol.
Yeah for sure. Always fun to do something a little different.
Man that's creepy. I love it. Nice work :)
Thanks a lot! I agree, super creepy and I love it because of that :D It's also really good to have in game so glad it's now painted :)

Thanks I am glad you've liked the videos! :) Earth Dragon is currently scheduled for next month ;) It'll actually be a giveaway for Patreon!
Do you still enjoy the Winsor and Newton brushes? If so what set did you get?

Oh man that's a hard question. I'm actually tempted to paint the Alien expansion first 😁
Hahaha I see you've learned from your Nura Onna (sp? Wet Woman) mini and decided to do the mud first.
Hah yup! I'm a proud base-first-most-of-the-time kinda guy now :D
2:00 you aren´t showing this because of me? ;)

If i dont have vomit. what colors do you recomend to kinda get that effect?

More creepy for sure! Using blood AND vomit on a tree?! That sounds awesome!
@@TheKingofAverage yep! Maybe one day you could do an "uptade" on it :)
I hate to be rude, and generally wouldn't say this publicly, but I've had poops that looked like that before. lol
haha man you had me going for a bit there :D As for me, no comments :P
Great paint job on a horrible model. It is so gross haha.
haha thanks! It is rather gross and I love it :D
