All of your spiders are very, very well-behaved. If I got one and tried to move it, its new residence would probably be my face. Dave, you have nerves of steel.
My wife really likes these, but at first glance, I thought they were kinda drab. So when a 5-inch female came up as part of a collection surrender, I snapped it up for her. The look of these in person blew me away. It's quickly become one of my favorites. They are so beautiful.
No apologies necessary for the things that may be lacking in the new Beastie room because the content that you share is so much more important. You've shown no matter the situation you give us the best information for our own spiders that you possibly can. So don't worry about lights and shades and such we come for your expertise in caring for the 8 legged beasties!!! Thank you guys for all you do!! Much love from Cincinnati Ohio USA ❤❤❤❤
Lovely species with amazing back legs! Must admit I haven't been too keen on getting fossorials due to not seeing them out and about but I can see that I have missed out on some beautiful species.
Hi Dave and Camera lady. I could see everything just fine, almost laughed when you brought out that little box with the male in it. The difference in size is amazing.
I'm so impressed that even King Baboon spider is so gentle and not showing any type of agression, its because of your energy Dave, watching you handling these beautiful animals are just amazing and best example out there!
Dave, your ability to remain calm with your spiders is awesome, always has been. Recently however you've been cheerful and positive in the face of adversity. Inspirational. ✌️
Really great to see things shaping up with the new digs. I went to my first Big reptile show this weekend at Tinley Park NARBC. Wow blew my mind! Only five or so Tarantula breeders but still awesome to see all the animals and people interested in the hobby. I've only been in the "T" hobby for a year and a half and your video's have been tremendously helpful. The couple of times I've gotten in a bit of jam I remember to take a breath "be calm and be gentle...". I still have jump scare's when they move unexpectedly but I am getting calmer all the time. Thankyou so much for sharing your knowledge and experience.
The spider fairies have extra rehousing, webbing through out the rest of the their new home that the Beasty Room is slowly getting it's funnel woven. Not in a hurry, enjoying seeing the progress...
Nice rehousing there Dave they really are one of the most self-confident tarantula's out there and a force to be reckoned with.🔥 I bought a big chunkey WC Queen Baboon female myself a few weeks back on a Dutch expo, got some really nice pictures of her.. also just like you i am trying to pair this lady because the hobby needs some more captive bred of this beautiful species.❤
They are both such beautiful spiders! I was expecting to see some feistiness as I’ve seen them stridulating and biting in other videos, but these were so well behaved! I love the calm, caring and informative nature of your videos. I look forward to seeing the pairing if you get to film it. Thank you for sharing. ❤
‘We won’t let Camera Lady put in the potting soil, she might show us up…” 😆 I just love your banter with Camera Lady…you guys are a great team. It’s really awesome to have a partner who has similar interest in your hobbies & work (it might not be your “real job” but it still is a lot of work!)… Great video as always. I appreciate how much respect you show your spiders & I learn something new from each video. I’ve watched this channel grow & grow-I hope this is something you continue to do because you’re an amazing teacher-you really, truly are. You both have a gift for sure.
I love the baboon species, some of the most gorgeous & majestic. The Featherleg baboon is easily in the top 5 prettiest Ts, imo. However, the king/queen baboons are just as magnificent with their thick rear legs & giant feet. Really shows what they're built for. I'd love to see a timelapse of them excavating & building their burrow 👀 👑🕷⛏️💜
Glad to see you do a video on these guys, alot of people see them as a boring brown T that you never see, but I love them. Easily in my top 3 favourite species. Ever since I've had mine its disappeared underground and I havent seen it since 😆 but I still love it. And no kidding about them being quite scarce, took me months to actually find one for sale! Great vid mate, all the best 👍🏻
Great video as always Dave & Camera Lady, beautiful tarantulas that female is a stunner! Hope your Singapore Blue is still doing well and clear of those parasites. 🤞
Although I’m not of the persuasion to keep spiders I do find your videos fascinating . I’m glad I discovered you guys!! Very educational and impressive, you do a good job of narrating too!
Morning dave brilliant video mate as all ways. Nice to see the new spider room is coming on well are you go to be at the Coventry show at the end of the month
Dave these are absolutely one of my favorites! My juvenile I’ve been raising since she well “hopefully “ a she for over 5 years now and she’s just amazing
VERY informative and interesting, I LOVE King Baboon Tarantulas, they are my absolute favorite Tarantulas. I like how you showed the difference between the male and the female. The leg size and hairiness, very nice 👍 THANK YOU VERY MUCH 👍❤❤❤
Excellent rehouse Dave such an impressive looking spider and she was so well behaved, I really think that’s down to how respectfully you handle your spiders. 👍
I dont know if yould be possible but id love to see a video of one of your spiders building there home, would be intersting to see how they go about doing it!
Absolutely fantastic Dave, what a terrific species of spider 🕷, I think the baboon species are brilliant, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
I wasn't able to appreciate her size until the end, where you could see her in proportion to her surroundings. She's a hefty girl for sure. I sure wouldn't want to wake up with her running across the bed, lol! Thanks to both of you for sharing!
They are sooo beautiful. I love my girl, she is rarley out in the open, but when, it's amazing! Baboon T's are so great Spiders, so amazing! Thx 4 the video Dave!!
Same!!! I am terrified of even the tiniest spider, but I’ve come to respect them more when they’re outdoors. If they’re in my house, that’s another thing…that’s what my dad’s here for 😂
I watched tarantula videos for over 3 years before I got one. I had arachnophobia and faced my fear. I own 7 of these fascinating creatures and all new world. Dave makes you feel that tarantulas aren't that scary just misunderstood. ❤😃
Thank you both for another super thorough insight into these lovely creatures. I appreciate the additional comments from the frogs adding important bits that you forgot to mention. 😌
I think the female looks a bit like a plush animal - so soft! But cuddling is really not an option 😂 You are so nice to even film videos in a moving chaos. I really feel you. I moved mid last year and still haven’t found everything although all boxes are empty and already have been taken away. I can’t imagine to have filmed videos during that time. Thanks for the awesome video ❤
Dave, you're an absolute legend! You make it look easy (I know it's because of your experience it looks that way..😉). I'm wondering how these spiders got the name "Baboon"? I'm not a spider keeper but what I do know I've learned from watching you and a few others. 🤓 Awesome video as always!
My goodness I never miss your videos, I had a roommate leave her T behind when she moved out it got me to loving the species we used to catch them as kids in CA USA I'm a super fan keep up the wonderful content glad to hear the Blue is doing well!
SOOO true every one of your spiders are well-behaved. And why shouldn't they be you're just amazing with them. Just unbelievable the things I've seen you do with them. I mean granted you still got to respect them like you said you could read them sometimes that can be read wrong as well so you always got to know the consequences and be very very careful when you're free handling any animals that is poisonous . I'm really looking forward to some of your breeding videos again. Hopefully very soon my friend I know you're still trying to settle in. Keep up the great job both of you(the wonderful and talented beautiful camera lady). Lol😊. 👍
a fine project PROFF starting in the new beastie room. some great information on this spider to help others in the hobby. magical footage CAMERA LADY you managed to capture on both spiders. amazing colour on them both. take care guys and many thanks
Lovely video! We just made the leap to old worlds and have two (b. simoroxigorum and p. regalis) and king baboon was on my must have list. After doing some research, it's still on the list but probably a few years away when we're more experienced. You have a lovely pair and it was a treat to see them.
Absolute masterclass on how to move you spiders, well done guys 👍
All of your spiders are very, very well-behaved. If I got one and tried to move it, its new residence would probably be my face. Dave, you have nerves of steel.
😂😂😂
I think Daves calmness definitely positively affects any interactions with Ts.
He’s a spider whisperer, his tips helped me with my OBT and other “aggressive” species
You will get there my friend ❤️👍
Awesome ❤️❤️❤️
Wow her back legs are huge aren't they 💪
Great to see something new added to the beastie room with every new video 😊👍
My wife really likes these, but at first glance, I thought they were kinda drab. So when a 5-inch female came up as part of a collection surrender, I snapped it up for her. The look of these in person blew me away. It's quickly become one of my favorites. They are so beautiful.

Wow the beastie room is really coming together nicely 🕷️🪲🪳🐛
Great work - your beastie buddies will be settling into their new homes

The spider room looks good dave, your getting there😊
