- A macrame, hanging pocket for small accessories is a very nice and functional accessory. It will be perfect for storing things in the bathroom or on a desk. The one that I want to present to you has the dimensions of 32x20 cm.
In the tutorial, I used pocket patterns for printing that I prepared. If anyone wants to use, feel free to download; files in pdf format:
~ There was a mistake in the video: I gave the dimensions of the strings in mm and they should be cm. So not 280 mm but 280 cm. I will correct the error as soon as possible and post the video again ~

Thank you so much for the questions clarifying the measurement is cm because as a total beginner in macrame and someone who does not use the metric system I would not have realized there was anything amiss until trying to begin. Then I’m sure I would have blamed myself for doing something wrong. You have saved me a lot of angst.

You also did the very best gathering knot tutorial-easiest to understand, I’ve seen anyone do yet. And I’ve watched ALOT of tutorials. Thx!!❤
Thanks for this tutorial. I made it! and its super easy for beginners.
Great work.
The best pattern & tutorial I’ve seen yet fir this type pocket. Thank you! Really hope you’ll do more videos in English, too. 😍
Hi! I made it! and am very proud of it. Thanks for the tutorial its super clear and easy to follow.
Cool. Congratulations. :) Thank you very much for tying macramé with me :)
Thanks for posting this! Awesome tutorial
Thank you :)
Спасибо, очень подробно, у меня, благодаря вам, все получилось!!!❤
عمل جميل كله ابداع وصنعة .....شكرا للفيديو
Gorgeous work !!!
How did you print up the picture of the measurements/ plan? I'd like to keep track of the ones I design myself and have never seen that before!
Sorry, but it is badly labeled in the video about the measure of each cordage.
I think they are centimeters, but not millimeters.
So they do not go to cut the ropes, greetings and blessings
Yes there is a bug in the video. Instead of mm there are cm - I explained it in the video description.
Omg I just cut all of mine too! 😡
I just cut it all wrong too 😡 that is stupid
@@marry6886Wow, unfortunate. What it is, I realized that the measurements didn't fit, so I didn't cut it as it says in the video. I did it differently.
I just love this relaxing macrame 😊
wonderful bag
thank you :)
Ficou lindo 🥰

Great tutorial. Thank you ❤
Very very beautiful ❤️
Thank you :)
Very useful and good looking 👍
thank you :)
Beautiful
Thank you :)
The measurements must be wrong?!
Thank you for the amazing tutorial !
Can I add less cords while making the pocket section as my cords are 4mm ?
If your cord is bigger in size you need to increase the length rather than reduce it.
So add an additional string for tie the tassel, how long i need the cords?
Wow nice 🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you :)

comment 28 mm peut correspondre aux cordes du début qui font au moins 1 mètre ?!
Wonderful
thank you :)
Difficult but amazing
difficult but only the first time :)
Yaa
Bonjour il y a une erreur d'unité dans la vidéo ce n'es pas des mm mais des cm soit 2m80...
Bonjour ou peut on trouver le patron?
Isn't 280 mm actually 28 cm??? Why is this cord much longer then? Am I missing something?
Now I see it too, unfortunately as a beginner saw it too late and now I have a whole cut cords in cm :((
Czy to mm to nie błąd? Nie powinno być "cm"?
I think you meant cm?
❤❤ amei ❤❤❤
Superb 😘😘😘
Super
Thank you :)
Convert to inches and and feet?
perfeito
Amei !
Wonderful tutorial, thank you for posting! What type of cord is used in this video?
Thank you :)
I also want to know the same thing- what type of cord you have used and name of the ring. Instructions written are so small that I am unable to read. Please respond.
3mm braided macrame cord.
It is very beautiful pocket but the tutorial is a bit too complicated to follow. Thank you for sharing though 🙏🏻
It was really easy for me. Where did you get stuck? Maybe I could help you!
Que ponto é esse Osana?
How do you subtract the knots please?
Hi.
In the first row, you will make square knots as usual. Then, in the second row, you will skip the first two cords and then tie the square knots. At the end of the row, you also skip the last two cords. In the third row, you will skip the first two cords again and then tie the square knots. At the end of the row you also skip the last two cordsIn each subsequent row there must be two less square knots
Amei 💕😍
IT'S CM NOT MM GUYS!!!!!!!
Amei 💕👏👏👏
Did anyone figure the cord size and the measurements? It is too blurry.
Ok. Gave myself a headache. But best I can surmise from the screenshot is
3mm cord
50 mm ring
Cords are in cm. Google if you need help. 2.54cm ~ 1 inch if I remember right.
Cords
4 @ 280cm
8 @ 250 cm
6 @ 230 cm
12 @ 200 cm
6 @ 180 cm
8 @ 150 cm
I do not know why the images are blurry. Might adjust play back setting. For me it did not help. Screenshot and zoom made it more blurry but I'm pretty sure this is possibly correct. If not ...I'm just a commenter and sorry if wrong.
In the tutorial it's mentioned as MM i.e. 280mm, 250mm, 230mm, 200mm etc
@@mansishukla3346 yes, but they are wrong, it is cm
It was pretty clear for me. Probably it's your video quality settings. Change it to auto maybe it can help.
Amei
Hi. I love it but I have a question about length of cords. is it 280 mm or 280 cm?
280 cm of course.
Thank you. I have to correct this.
I wondered the same lol. Like 9 inch cord would not last for this whole pattern.
And here I am sat with a bunch of 15-28cm cords 🤡
@@Marta-mt7es same
I just wasted what little cord I have left because the measurements were never fixed 😐
Wool👍👍👌👌
Thank you :)
Is this 3mm cord? It looks bigger than that
I'm making the bag following the tutorial. And yes it is a 3mm cord. Its braided maybe that's why it looks thicker.
Nice tutorial, but dimensions are wrong. I already cut my cord.
Yeah its cm instead of mm.
Does anyone know how to decrease the rows?
In each row, skip the first two cords and then start your square knots. At the end of the row, two cords will also be lowered. Thus, each row has one less square knot. graphically it looks like this:
||ooo||
||oo||
||o||
where do you get your cord. I’ve looked several places and and seem to find this type.
I buy the string on the Polish Allegro.
@@marlenamaciagmakramowyzaka849 Czy mozesz powiedziec sznurka jakiej firmy uzywasz?

How can Niihau convert to inches?
You can search macrame cords and find it easily in Amazon or etsy shop. This tutorial used 3mm braided cord.
I am so lost after the knot of 6x180. anyone here to help me for more tutorial?
after that you'll take 2 of 150 and add to each side, then start reducing your rows to make a diamond like shape until your last row only has 6 square knots the remaining 4 150 cords will be added after you begin to fold and connect for the front.
so everything is in cm jot in mm?
yes, everything is in cm
Where do I find the pdf file?
Looking for the same thing

Do you have the printable diagram in English
The diagram is only in Polish.
I can only find one page in the links you provided & it is not the diagram you show in the video. Can you repost the diagram? Thanks!
