It's nice to learn about how you're developing the land after you bought it. We're going to start sending our customers to this video so they can learn more about what it takes to develop their own land.
Great video! People love to do farming for different reasons; to some, it is a job, and to others, it’s a relaxing hobby. We actually sell properties that can be used as farms. This info is helpful for those who like to spend time away from the city.
I'm pretty stoked to see progress on the new tunnel. Really wanna try the till and tarp method for weed suppression. Hopefully I can get the farm I'm working on to invest in the tarps
Check out the renegade blade for your weedeater. It makes the job so much faster, as long as you don't have to get right up against a structure. It lays over anything it touches, from thin grass blades to 3 inch diameter saplings- and it doesn't throw the clippings like string!
I am wanting to do about 1 acre of broken ground for a permanent beds. Can I remove the the soil tats broken then place the fabric mulch and then place the organic mulch?
Osborne’s is great. I used to shop at Johnny’s but I’ve had varying success with germination on some of their seeds and their customer service is frustrating. I could say more but I’ll leave it at that. These days it’s Osborne and Holmes seed companies for me.
If you ever need to replace your string trimmer, consider a battery powered model. Always starts, never needs engine maintenance, really quiet, no fumes, no engine seals issues with ethanol in gasoline. I’m replacing all of my 2 cycle engines with electric. The current batteries are awesome.
@@paulacothren3591 Yes there is, are you spying on me? I've long known it's Route 1 leading rats straight to my produce. Nothing I can do about the stream except securely bait against them.
@@VanderlyndenJengold Rats are frustrating for gardeners for sure, and I'm in downtown Raleigh where the many creeks are home to the largest rats you've ever seen in an urban setting.
Good to see the new tunnel area is getting on the way!
Nice to the man is on site... beside you , sir.

You crack me up. I love the 'take outs' at the end. Hey! Thanks for the lead on Osborne.
You're welcome!

How do you get rid of the bind weed? It's my worst nightmare and tilling just makes it even worse.

When you smoothed it out, is that just raking everything around to get it level after tilling?
Hi Josh, what software do you use for editing videos?
I used Davinci Resolve for a long time but recently switched to Final Cut Pro.

Do you have varmints? Rats are a terrible problem for me.
Is there an overgrown creek near your property? I means lots of brush on the banks!
