Mr. Söllscher, when I was little my father used to play your records and I grew up by listening your plays. It is great to see you again. It is like a meeting again with a long time friend.
this is on of the hidden gems of the internet, every once in a while i remmember this video and watch it without a single pause, im amazed at the portrayel of emotions and timing lovely playing
I can't believe I found it!!!! I had this song, this version by this performer, on an old cassette tape in the 80s. It was given to me as a mix tape and I never new who played this song or what it was called and I never came across it. Until now......by some heavenly guidance, I randomly searched RUclips for melancholic beautiful pluck gitarr instrumental songs, and after randomly scrolling through around 100 songs (realising it would be about 10 000 songs and a miracle), I stumbled across it!!! I immediately searched for other gitarr players with same song and found this right away. This is it. The very version I had on cassette tape that has played in my head only, since the 80s. Now I could finally hear it again and I cried and shouted out "thank you" to the skies. So a big thank you for posting this very piece here. Forever greatful. And so beautifully played! ❤
Your eleven stringed guitar inspired me to make just the same one and it is probably 'the first eleven stringed guitar' in my country, Korea. The most difficult part of making it was the head design apart from the sound. I really appreciate your playing and it was good luck for me to be able to enjoy your music in my life.
Wow. I'm a 55 year old Englishman living in Australia and have never heard of you or your music before, Mr Söllscher. I'm so glad I clicked on your video out of curiosity. Beautiful!
Already in 2022 I have discovered something beautiful and an example of how much of it there can be in life. You truly are gifted and a real musician and lots more besides. Please continue to demonstrate your talents to the superficial world we live in. We need them more than ever.
You are just lost in the music. Like your body just becomes an vesel that translates what your soul is saying into the instrument. Thank you for making the world a more beautiful place
I like this!!! More complimentary open string notes without needing to constantly switch complex chordings…so notes are far more clean and ring out longer! This is great!
He is a pleasure to watch how superb his playing is how does one describe how they feel listening to this once in a lifetime there will never be another
Que Paz, es encantador, en estos tiempos que correr, un intérprete tan tranquilo y pausado se agradece, es un Maestro. Muchas Gracias 😌❤️ desde Barcelona.
All of the pathetic TV shows on the air on the literally hundreds and hundreds of stations and not one has the intergrity or forsight to enhance our lives by showing people such as this playing different instruments and letting the world know who and what actually exsists in the real music world. Think how much richer our lives would be for hearing and learning about these instruments and the artists that play them. Thank you for this amazing heart warming experience.
I work in the restaurant business, New Year's day worked till 11;30 pm, had to be at work 0530 for buffet breakfast, very tired and stressed, this almost put me to sleep, let my mind escape to some other place, relaxed me so much, thank you for 4 minutes of peace. :)

This video reminds me that there are truly soft and gentle people in this world. People who want nothing but to create beautiful things and promote peace and harmony. People that seek not evil, but beauty. Seek not fame or fortune but merely want to make people happy and to stir beautiful emotions. I fear that this world will consume these people in the near future and the world will be devoid of such beauty for a millennia. I weep for this world, but I am stirred by hope that such beauty can hide itself from the evil to come and once again dominate our humanity.
You play your instrument with passion and purpose. Thank you! For four minutes, and forty seconds I had forgotten about my troubles of the day. all because of you. Thank you!
