Thanks! I wanted this video to be a bit more trains going by and railfanning, and less of what I usually do: an emphasis on switching in industrial spurs. Cheers, Ted
The layout is looking really good. I like how you took the just plug utility poles with the lights on them and run them down through the yard. I think those just plug wooden utility poles look very real. You've done a lot of really nice details here and there and I usually spot something new in your videos I'd not seen before. Even if it's the same video I find things for the first time I haven't seen before. You've done a good job using cheaper kit buildings with more expensive ones making them look good and fit together very well too. Great video. Stay well. -Wil 👍
Go to the "Seaboard Central" channel. Not the newest content, but the older content when his layout was more complete, before he tore it down and moved. A lot of good ideas there. Cheers, Ted
Thanks, I did want to leave room on my layout for at least a bit of representative agriculture. People often forget it. The largest "industry" in Ohio is agriculture.
Very nice layout and rolling stock, looks like you put a lot of effort into the details. Is the layout like a U-shaped dogbone? I'm in OH as well, but have just started back up with trains about a year ago.
I have been working on this layout for about 5 years. Look at my older video, I think March 2021, where I do a layout update, and you will get an idea of the size and operation schematic of the layout. For a bit more detail of what industries are there, look at my short video on car cards and waybills. I think the July, 2021 video is my "turning back time" video of previous layouts. I plan to do a layout update in about 3 weeks, as the scenery has been improved since the older update video, and it looks better now. Cheers, Ted
I am planning to do a "layout update" in a month or so, although most of the changes are better scenery and layout appearance. The 3-21 video does a fairly good job of showing the track plan, and the video on car cards and waybills gives a bit more detail on the industries. Cheers, Ted
Thanks! The 2-8-0 is a B&O Broadway Limited I purchased about 4 years ago. I wanted a PRR, but it was not in stock, and I never saw it in the store, so I got the B&O. The PRR 2-6-0 on a siding, not running, is a Bachmann. Cheers, Ted
Nice opening shot of the playground/park….you have some well developed scenes on your layout…trains running through 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Very good layout. Excellent.
Thanks for the comment! It's modest in size, but enough detail and variety to keep me busy. Cheers, Ted
Excelente video

ah i have a GP7 that is very similar to that GP9 (though the decoder was faulty so i have to go to a train store to get it fixed this weekend)
Hope you got that GP7 working OK! Cheers, Ted
Would you some time do a short video of your layout track plan for us?

Nice ... Very Nice Ted in Ohio .... would love to see it up close and personal someday ... (signed) Mike in West Virginia ...
I plan to do a "layout update" in a month or so. Cheers, Ted
Excellent scenery. Wish I could do half as good.
What make is that PRR 2-8-0?
