Forgive me but how could you say something so ignorant about someone else’s art? Songs are poetry and poetry is so subjective, that line means something to the artist and to the listeners who interpret their own meaning. This song feels like that moment when you go for a walk and the nature around you is so perfect, so unconcerned with you, but also feels like it was staged just for your viewing. I just found out about Maggie yesterday. There is a real warmth to her music. Her voice is so beautiful. She has a levity to her writing but also oscillates between this real light, float-like quality to a more grounded, folk chorus. I like the way she juxtapositions the two, they work real well together.

I listened to the Pharrel Masterclass and I was suprised by Pharrel's comments. There are artists who combine folkloric with dance music really well. I just feel Pharrel was so blown away by her natural talent and the total completeness of the production values, he just couldn't think quickly enough to actually say that - he just didn't say a lot because he was in shock!

I just found out about Maggie yesterday. There is a real warmth to her music. Her voice is so beautiful. She has a levity to her writing but also oscillates between this real light, float-like quality to a more grounded, folk chorus. I like the way she juxtapositions the two, they work real well together.

I loved the fact that Pharrell was amazed at her voice in her school. That video is so genuine that she didn't even realize he really loved the demo. Definitley different sounds from anything I've heard. I can listen to her voice forever. Very melancholy and dream like.

I listened to the Pharrel Masterclass and I was suprised by Pharrel's comments. There are artists who combine folkloric with dance music really well. I just feel Pharrel was so blown away by her natural talent and the total completeness of the production values, he just couldn't think quickly enough to actually say that - he just didn't say a lot because he was in shock!
