I'm glad the tutorials are helping, thanks! That load order by type list in the middle of this video might be helpful. Sometimes, too, it just doesn't really matter much as long as you get them in the right zone.
Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction! hadn't played ATS for a while before Texas was added I couldn't remember which compatibility patch I needed for the Mexico map I used the MUO compatibility patch when I actually needed the "other maps compatibility" patch for the C2C map, the Mexico map is working for me now!

I'm not sure yet how things have changed for ATS in version 1.50, but I'll be installing it in a few days. In general there are things like Jerry's fullscreen map mod that you put at the very top of your load order, but I'm not 100% sure of the specifics yet. I just got back from vacation and updated ETS2 yesterday. I'll do ATS next. :)

Hard to say, but it could be a bunch of things. These are simple things I'd check first: 1 - The mod folder is incorrectly named. 2 - The files are in the wrong location.
You have the connector file for Better Arizona and Reforma? If so, I’d double check that map order list and make sure they are loading in the correct order.
im trying to ad canada to my map iim having a hard time getting the promods i need the map package the models package and assets package but promods site is making it hard to do it
Great tutorial! I got this to work but it does not give me enough time to finish the job. The distance is always too far away for the time. Is there any way to fix this?
The times in map mods are often off by a factor of 3, so you'll have plenty of time even though it doesn't look that way when you take the job. If you have some time, you can watch me driving some deliveries in Mexico and I talk about it a fair bit. Bottom line: you'll be fine. :)
I was able to get all my mods to work, but i have the zoom in crash. Not sure hot to fix cus every crash fix seems to be for ETS not ATS. Thanks for the help :)
Yes, this really should have been added to the tutorial, my apologies. You might need the three large map fix mods. They go at the very top of your load order, and are the top three files in this list: tinyurl.com/2chqjkvj

I don't believe so, but with two maps so far apart in the game, you'd likely want the mods that fix map issues when there are multiple large map mods in the game. I don't know yet what those would be for 1.50 in ATS, sorry. I've been reading they are no longer needed, perhaps. (Still working on this.)
Sorry it's not working, there use to be a crash fix mod for large maps, but my understanding is that it's not needed any more. The first place I'd look at is 1) potential conflicting mods 2) load order But it sounds like you've checked 2, so maybe you've got some other mods that are conflicting with the map, not sure. Sorry.

Hopefully you will do one for the coast to coast, Alaska, and carribean... not interest in Mexico but this is way to confusing to navigate with the Mexico thing added in...lol, mods that make mods work is hard. I am usually just a drop and go person. Mainly need to know which ones to put in...lol. I'm slow
Yeah, as you add more map mods you need more map mods to make them all work together. I might recommend just starting a new career and only dropping in Mexico to that. Then you wouldn't have to bother with all the other stuff. :)

Yes, this is on my list of mod install videos, but I'm just waiting for version 1.50 of the game to come out first. Once that happens and the mods get updated, I'm hoping to make tutorials for ProMods Canada and the Caribbean. :)
I play with a friend of mine a lot. The only way they can join you in a convoy is if you both have the same exact mods and the most important thing is that they are both in the same exact order.
If you just wait and buy the map dlc the maps will connect all together you dont need a mod for that but maybe there are ways to get the other maps for free and thats what works for this method
Whats the point in even downloading a map mod if there going to make you buy the map dlc anyway so the mod works i thought the point was to get the map or state free it just sounds weird to me modders put out full maps of the united states and more and scs hasn't even released or made these maps yet the graphics would obviously be way worse
The point is it's not based game it's resources and map items they need you to already own to use said modded maps. I'm learning and just realized I can't use this mod till I buy the rest of the dlc. The best way to do so is catch a sale half the dlc maps be 3 to 10 $ on a good day sale .
One note: Midwest Expansion and CanaMania are now also merged into The Great Mid North, and Montana Expansion is now known as ATS Expansion. And the site I base my list on is GMC Logistics. I think you called it Quartermaster haha.
Hard to say without more details, but here are the things I'd check: 1 - Do you have matching versions of the mod and the game? They both should be 1.49 now. 2 - Do you have all the files? 3 - Do you have the mod files in the correct order in the load order? 4 - Do you have other map mods that might be conflicting?
Happy to help, but it's really hard to say without knowing a lot more about what you did, what other mods are involved, and seeing your load order, version, etc. However, if you have a lot of map mods installed, you probably want to install these two mods at the very top of your load order: Jerry's Fullscreen World Map (ATS) Crash fix for huge combo maps I'd recommend asking on the steam forums or on the trucky mods forums for specific help if that doesn't work.
Did a great job on video keep it up I think it something to do with my Alaska cause when I took it off it doesn’t do it anymore but with Alaska when I’m zooming in the map it crashes so is there something I’m doing wrong with Alaska

When i downloaded the files they were already in .scs format and not zipped.
It's possible they have changed how they download, but if they are already .scs files just drop them in the mod folder. :)
Just wondering, if you don't have the connecting files does the game not work, or do you just have roads which go nowhere?
I think it's more that the roads don't match up, or the terrain doesn't match and your truck goes flying into the netherland. :)

Map expansions requiring DLC packs seems to be because they don't want you to have FREE things & this ensures money goes back to SCS.
Could be. Or it could be that the map modders use assets from all the DLC states to make their map mods better.
