I really do appreciate that you posted the reality of moving in between planners! Life happens and things that work a few months may not work on the long run! There. Is a whole stigma centralized around people who hop between planners but planner peace is based on having something that works for your life and 1 planner sometimes does not work and align an entire year for some! Planner peace changes as your life does and one planner that might work for you one week or one month might not work for you the next. I’ve tried to give myself grace in moving into what is inspiring and helpful for me in that moment. It has helped me to realize planner peace is totally fluid! 💕
If you like the layout of the weeks but find it too small, Nolty offers a planner with the same layout in both B6 and A5 I believe. If you've never used a Nolty, I recommend it. Their paper is beautiful!
Leuchtturm does an A5 with the weeks layout too - used it last year and loved it. I have no need for dailies so only use weekly layouts. Horizontal week with a notes page works beautifully for me but the Hobonichi Weeks would be too small.
I think you have helped me decide that I want the Stalogy a6 as well. I feel the same as you. I do not think I will end up using my Hobo Cousin because there is just so much room! I like the idea of it but it is just not practical for me. Maybe I'll be surprised though! I love your spreads.
Do you use your fountain pen to draw out the layout? Do you highlight then write over it or write then highlight? What ink are you using in your décimo?
I used a sharpi pen to make the layouts and then I highlighted later I never have any smudging with that pen. The ink in my decimo right now is deatramentis document ink black. :)
