    I love how you have designed a plan for yourself where you can flow so seamlessly from one book to another - serious goals for sure. Every one of your videos makes me want to jump into an A6 (especially thinking about journaling in a less intimidating size than A5) but when I play with my A6 "sample" inserts they seem so small ... lolol ... the struggle continues. But I am really enjoying using more layering of pens/washi/stickers, especially in my journaling and memory keeping. Thank you for continuing to inspire...

      This is so kind, thank you! And yes, A6 is small for sure, so I totally understand the struggle! I wish Hobonichi came out with a B6 LOL Thank you for watching and leaving such a lovely comment! Wishing you all the best in choosing and finding a size you love!!!!

    Thank you for sharing your systems!!! I took a year off from hobonichi & have been doing bujo.. yet couldn’t think of a way of continuing both until NOW. Just recently found you on IG & you popped up on my YT. Love your content!

      Brittany, YES, luff you friend! I used to use stickies, too! Before my bujo! (I still use them, bc obviously I'm obsessed with stickies heheheeh) And yes, rapid logging really changes the whole planning game. Muahhh

    I ADORE your planning style and how you lay everything out on your page. I'm especially impressed with how well you utilize the A6 size! My first Hobonichi was this last year and I opted for the A6, but over this year I've come to learn it's simply too small for me. So next year I'll be doing a cousin. But I love how you utilize the extra notebook for a bujo. I'm starting to do that myself and really like letting the Hobonichi be a creative space (almost opposite to you 😅). But seriously, your spreads are so cute and I love them! They always inspire me to try something new. ❤

      Amazing, that makes me so happy! Funny how different planners and layouts work so differently for every person. I love how our planners really mold to each one of our lives! Thanks for watching and hope we continue to inspire one another!!

    This is such a great set up for what I want!
    I also like to have a running to-do list as well as a weekly calendar. I typically used to have it in a Weeks or a Weeks-size notebook insert. (EDIT->) I use the Alastair method to help me break them down per day/category, whichever I find more useful. (End EDIT)
    Because I decided to try an A6 set-up this year, I love the idea of using a blank A6 notebook since the Weeks size is taller. It's such a great idea to utilize it as an overflow bujo-style! I know the A5 is not the size I want because of portability, but I do struggle with needing more room sometimes. Your use of the notebook is a PERFECT idea.
    I love that we have such a similar way of thinking, because you have solved most of my planner set up problems! (Something else might come up, so I'm not saying ALL 😉)
    Love that I found your channel! ❤️
    Thank you for sharing!

      Well, this made me SUPER happy! Thanks for sharing your system!! And now I'm going to research what the Alastair method is; yay! I'm so glad this was helpful, because I was in the same exact conundrum. A5 isn't portable, A6 lacks room SOMEtimes. This combo method has been working beautifully so far. I hope you'll continue to share your findings as well!!!

    I really like your setup! ^^ I like your comment about viewing your weekly to-dos at the same time as your daily pages so that you don't have to flip back and forth.
    For your journaling sections, do you have ever take more than one whole page? Two pages? How to know how much space you need for your daily journaling? That's my dilemma. I'm wondering if I want to use a plain Hobonichi notebook that will be super flexible, skip days, etc. Or if I want more structure with the Avec or Cousin.
    What did you use before Hobonichis, if anything?

    • @moonlitplanning
      @moonlitplanning  3 года назад

      Thanks so much, friend! For my journaling sections, I really take the liberty to take as much (or little) space as I want. I've done two sentences to two pages. And I have my Hobonichi Techo that gives the motivation to keep consistent, so I don't feel stressed when I skip extra journaling. I personally love the combination of tiny motivation from the dated dailies + the freedom of the notebook. I use the Hobonichi Cousin for faith journaling, but it does not work for me and I'm merely using it bc I don't want to waste paper. I literally use it like an empty notebook now. lolll

    I love your stickers and the way you have set everything up. What pen and highlighter do you use?

    • @moonlitplanning
      @moonlitplanning  3 года назад

      Hi Jen, thank you! So I actually use various pens (I'll have them listed in PWM descriptions) and I only use tombows / sailor shikiori / le pen plume II brush pens, so no highlighters unfortunately. :-( My HG pen in black is my pentel energel 0.5 and fountain pen (Pilot Decimo Vanishing Poing F nib, pilot namiki black ink)

    Absolutely LOVE your planning/journaling style….. 💕🎀 I sooooo wish that I could be a fraction as creative as you are….. I have tried lettering and just can’t get it and my writing is like chicken scratch 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I can’t draw/doodle to save my life 😂

      Thank you so much Belinda!! BUT!! I disagree. Please don’t give up on lettering! Maybe I’ll do a video on tips to help! And all writing is beautiful- just like you, me, and every unique person in existence. I’ve grown and improved so much in the past year- keep going on this journey together!!
