What a big detail to bring the coffee to bed for your girl. You certainly look like a good person from the beginning. I thought you were tired of construction but I was wrong. It has to be a beautiful place in summer. Too bad that the glass of the excavator machine broke. But I'm sure you'll get it soon. A hug and peace for Alaska and the rest of the world, which is needed.

The This Is My Alaska videos exemplify the importance of good planning - analyze, plan, execute, evaluate, modify plan (as needed). From planning what equipment, tools, food, and comfort items were needed to vehicles, you get an A+++. The "new" cabin is going to be GREAT!!!! 👏👍💪✌😊❤❤❤

Open concept bathroom. Love it haha. Too bad about your window. I don't know what's better - freak accidents, or knowing exactly how I screwed up 😂 I was installing windows in my house recently, and I leaned one up against the wall. Triple checked to make sure it was secure, but somehow it still tipped backward. It probably would've been ok, but the shop vac canister was right in the centre and it shattered. It was so ridiculous that I couldn't even be angry. At least I had the vacuum ready 🙂

Good water is becoming hard to find in some parts of the country. It is one of Alaska’s great natural resources. The best water on earth just flows from the mountains around us.

T&A Supply in Anchorage can sell you a stand up scraper to make this job easier. In double glue installations the pad is often glued down with a pressure sensitive adhesive which can be removed with hot water if the scraper job is not clean enough. The other hint is to turn the scraper blade around so you are not using the sharp side. Will work better as you commented the blade was too sharp.

Good evening R.W. Thank you for watching. This is a 5-acre piece of property located way up in the mountains, on the shore of a huge, glacier-fed lake. My wife and I purchased it a few years ago from the former owner who operated a bed and breakfast style lodge here for many years. We have dreamed of renovating the old buildings and operating the business once again. It is a huge challenge for several reasons. It is about 165 mile from where we currently work and live, and are trying to work here every weekend so it is quite a drive. Another obstacle (perhaps the biggest one) is the tremendous snowfall here. We have a least five feet of snow and so far it has not stopped falling. It is a bit overwhelming at times. But we are enjoying the challenge and are excited to get started. It will be very interesting to watch the transition to spring here with all this snow. We will share that experience with you. Peace.

A fruitful job has been done! You could hardly manage alone, without the help of your wife .. And, of course, I would have drunk some water from this spring! What could be "sweeter" than spring water, from the very heart of the earth! Undoubtedly, you and your wife have a wonderful team! Good luck and prosperity!! I look forward to continuing this wonderful project!

That water is glacier fed and it is the best tasting water we’ve ever had! It’s a treat for sure! It is good to have Tanya with me on this project. She’s a help with the work and she’s also great for the general morale ☺️. Thank you for watching and for taking time to encourage. Peace to you, friend.

Thanks for sharing this insightful video. You barely finished your cabin and now you are on this project. Really impressed how easily the tractor started. I cannot imagine a functional septic sustenances under all the snow and ice. Love your espresso maker and serving your lady in bed. Wishing you and your family a blessed week. Greetings from the north coast of the lower 48. Peace brother

Good morning my friend. The tractor is set up with frost plug engine heaters. I start the little portable generator and preheat it for a few hours before starting it. That is the key. Thanks so much for watching our video. We are so grateful. Peace to you on the north coast my friend.

Woh! a lot of snow! Good evening from Italy. You know, it hasn't rained or snowed seriously around these parts since December 9th. we start having serious problems. The level of the rivers drops dangerously. and irrigation of crops becomes expensive. What a crazy weather. We had a lot of fun enjoying this video and thanks for sharing it with us, the work team is really fun. A great job awaits you and we believe you will do it great. Tania, the operations brains, is too cute with that pretty smiley face and works hard. Really a nice couple you two. Too bad for the window ....... the unexpected ..... so you don't have time to .... get bored .. :)). two more caresses for Stella and we look forward to seeing you next week. Greetings to all three.

It’s so much snow and I fear that when it finally starts to melt, we will have the opposite problem that you are having. I am sorry to hear about that lack of rain, it must be very concerning.
Yeah, breaking the window was a bummer but it can be repaired so we will get to that as soon as we’re able. Thank you so much for watching and for the kind and encouraging comments. Peace and blessing to you and yours. 🥰
