I literally went to shoot a video making fun of hikers losing their spoons and realized I couldn't find mine for a prop lol! Thanks to this I always know where it is now!
Thanks Ben, easy install and thank you so much for the extras!! I liked and subscribed! This is a top notch company that goes above and beyond for their customers, order with confidence!!
Having always placed my spoon at the top of my food horizontally and rolled the bag down to maximize space - wouldn't putting spoon holder horizontally across the middle of the bag be a better placement instead of an angle? In the example shown, as your food supply is depleted, it appears that the spoon would be sticking up and interfere with rolling down the bag for more space being at that semi-45˚ angle.
I have tried many different placements. Down low, up high, horizontal... the placement we decided on works best. Been using these for about 4 years on our own trips. Doesn't fall out. Stays right where you need it.
I love this idea. Will it fit inside a bear can under the lid? or on the side of the bear can inside? Thinking about gettng one for my op sack. Is your bear bag scent proof like the op sacks?
Dyneema is not considered scent proof. A bear bag is meant to be hung so a bear can't reach it even though he knows it's there and it's food. look up "PCT hang" here on youtube.

Are your bear bags scent proof to bears? Also how do you protect your food in your bag above tree line?
