In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. Decided to try boss swap for the first time on Clad and got Runic Dome, which I had always avoided before, and it actually ended up being the first time I beat heart with Ironclad.

Curious minds would like to know Baalor's reaction to the STS2 reveal trailer
These vods are from an alternate dimension in which Baalorlord is exactly the same except about 3 or 4 weeks in the past. So hopefully we'll be seeing a reaction then. Or he may put out a special vid ahead of time.

Slay the Spire 2 was announced just yesterday!! Found out a few hours ago and I’m hype
The fact that so much time and experience has been acquired by Balaar and STILL act 1 jaw worm eats us, and slimes brings challenges and difficult optimization calls is mind boggling. Slay the spire is truly terrifying. Picking cards is easy, hallway fight choices are hard.

There was no need for the Ironclad to _flex_ on the Spire like this, and yet he did it anyway!

Highly recommend Spirit Island if you get the chance. It's a great game and has a lot of replay-ability through different spirits, board combinations, and invader nations.

The unedited channel has all the full stream vods, but it might be hard to find which one of those had slay the streamer.

46:40 why do your cards shift?
Crescendo is retained, which is distinct from Runic Pyramid's effect of causing cards to not be discarded. When you have Pyramid, retained cards get shifted to the end of your hand.

I'm a few hundred hours in and only just realised that pstrike includes all cards in deck and discard, and not just in hand! 🤦♂️ DOH! 😅
