I like that she didn’t even get talk to the guy that’s considered the big boss😂 she just straight up shot him, I feel like action movies sometimes take a while to kill the villain but she just went for it.
Yeah that was the moment that made me feel like this is one of the best movies I've seen. They built the big boss villain up like you would expect in most similar movies, but then surprised the audience in a good way. Instead of the usual trend of the big confrontation between the "hero" and the big villain that can't stop talking, she shut him up just like that. That's when you realize he was nothing special, just another man that will die to a single bullet like the others. I was going to say, more movies should do things like that, but usually the scenarios rely so much on the "big villain" to hold it together that we probably won't see it that often.
This is one movie worth to watch more than one time, the fight choreography, the soundtrack, the realistic fight scenes, the cinematographic setting, everything is chef kiss.
I was actually very impressed with this. Though she is a girl fighting men who are nearly twice her size, they actually made most of the fighting look accurate. The way they just swarmed her at the end and she kept getting pushed farther and farther back is what would actually happen. That is until you find a gun.
@eljen18 i know but if someone carrying a gun and i only have a knive i would surrender without putting any fight. Not a smart thing to raise a knife/axe in front of someone holding a gun

If you have a knife against someone with a gun, and you’re in knife-fighting range (or have the numbers as the gangsters have in this scene) attack. Tactically, you’re, as we say, fucked, but if you can get a slash in, you’re more likely to deal fatal damage. It’s kind of a Sun Tzu situation: you’re on death ground, you fight.

I'm still in complete awe at how good this was. The film didn't use action as a crutch, the action itself was super kinetic and badass. Nowadays everyone's chasing the John Wick style of action but no one can quite catch it. This was up there for me although it's much more stylized. Lead actress is fucking awesome too. More of this please

I like that they were accurate with the rounds fired. In the second shot she's holding a snub nose, then she swaps to a beretta because otherwise the 16 shots she fires can't come from the same gun without reloading.

My favorite parts: 2:13 Three guys blindside her by pushing the boxes instead of attacking her directly; 2:27 She loses her gun and becomes desperate, throwing anything she can get her hands on at them, while they push her further and further back and she even has to act without fully standing up;
This reminds me of Atomic Blonde. The way she uses her body weight and jumps with her kicks on vital parts make its believable that she can do damage to the men who are way above her weight. Unlike the action of Nikita and some other famous series where you clearly see she can't even throw a punch and where the scenes really need some action you can clearly see its a body double. The only thing unbelievable in this scene is that the goons are still going for her when she has gone and is clearly good at shooting yes we see other movies where the goons still keep going at the guy even though he seems to be killing the other goons with his bare hands or a knife but then you can assume that the goon has a delusional ego that he is better than the hero but here its a gun they come running from far away I don't think the boss pays them that much. They could have still hid got behind chairs and started throwing things at her instead of going for her and getting sacrificed. It makes no sense that the goons who sacrificed themselves after the first 2- 3 guys would ever do that in real life.
