The people that make the sound effects are called foley artists.
That's because they use speed ramping and actually shoot the scenes twice. Once with the actors actually punching a pillow to get that kinetic look
I rewatched it after reading your comment, and yeah, the sound production is a huge part of it.

Different level, lol. It’s nothing but annoying fast edited cuts with zero fluidity whatsoever. It’s lame as shait. Every strike jumps to another, and another. No prolonged action sequence. It’s really bad. You want next level martial arts? What Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li stuff, not these lame choreographed fight starring some skinny little chick with zero martial arts skills. Different level, yeah, bad, really bad fight scenes.
Horrid and lame is more like it. Nothing but quick takes with zero fluid fight choreography. More like a music video than a proper fight scene. You want next level? Watch Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li fight scenes instead.
So I watched this movie and yawn there was hardly any action like this throughout it just not getting all the love

Even though no one was actually being injured in the scenes, the way they combined the strikes and the sound effects makes it feel like bones, jaws and skulls were actually being cracked, broken and shattered. The power in those strikes is just phenomenal.

On one hand, they use the camera cuts well to make each attack look heavy, but on the other hand, there's also way too much cuts that make it hard to follow, and it's a classic camera trick to make actors look like they can fight when they really can't.*

The title of the movie is 'BALLERINA'. So this is what Korean ballet looks like. Good choreography must have rehearsed it a few times. then stitched together by the ned cutter. Makes for some good action, More please.
