I got the Razer Phone and it's was really good but the camera sucked. When there was a bug though they would fix it as fast as they could but i cant imagine what this phone can do. This phone would probably be a beast

I am just saying, I bought this phone and i got 0 regrets, AT ALL. The 120hz display and the dual STEREO speakers are more insane than you can imagine. All my friends are amazed by it and ofc, that RGB always gets amazed looks. Again, 0.. regrets... It also have alot of other good things but i wanted this to be a short comment for anyone considering buying it... or not..

A honest review from a guy who used this phone for 4+ years:
Cons:
The razer internal apps were really buggy & I also had the well known problem that the speakers sometimes made weird sounds and that my camera wasn't working properly.
After all this years of usage the phone is basically bending and the battery is terrible (which is probably normal after 4+ years of constant usage)
Also the phone was veryheavy, but that's something to consider before buying it tbh
(Also some dust sometimes got caught in the speakers, but it usually disappeared after a few days)
Pros:
I really liked the idea of the logo at the back for notifications (that's also one point why I'll try the Nothing-Phone as my next one)
I love the sound of the phone and I'm pretty sure that it is at the top 5 of all phones out there, dolby atmos sounds so nice!
(Also a huge huge plus for the idea to place the camera in the speakers area, so there is no camera inside of the display, looks so clean!)
The fingerprint sensor is so nice and I really liked the placement of all other buttons
And at last, it's really really stable/constant. I had a hard plastic case using the phone and the phone never took any damage, even though it sometimes fell from multiple meters of height
Some additional words:
Honestly, if I could still buy the phone anywhere then I would defnitely buy it again. But in the EU (as far as I know) you can't get it anywhere anymore.
If Razer would release a 3rd phone and do something about their software to make it more stable & reliable then everything would have worked perfect.

Well whatever... I didnt like the price all that much and bought myself a Huawei P20 instead. Razer cant keep up with the competition. P20Pro and S9 are far away. Most of it is marketing. So they should put reasonable pricing on their products. 800+ is pure enthusiasm and rather early adopter stuff... Whils there isnt anything that new.

For everyone complaining about the "no headphone jack". In the box they include Hi-Res DAC witch you can put in the charging port and plug any 3.5mm jacks. (also the DAC gives better sound quality)

too bad it's poorly implemented and overpriced. yeah it's marginally better in some aspects like operations per second and camera resolution, but you're not getting a good value on it.

It's awesome. Everything an end-user needed in a phone: stereo speaker (front facing), 1440p screen in 5.7", fast processor, stock android, huge ram, water resistant etc etc. Great product design guys 👍🏽👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. And can you guys consider providing a drawing pen (like note - active type) as an accessory (no need of any addition softwares) and a headphone jack. It would be epic. Please don't remove or downgrade anything in next version. Great job!!

Needs a headphone jack, or atleast if the type c port was at the side of the phone that would be awesome, because then we could use an adapter and plug in our headphones to the phone more conveniently, if it's at the bottom then how tf do u hold the phone while gaming? Headphone jack is not that important, if it had a usb c port on its side it would have been perfect. Asus Rog all the way.
if you don't have bluetooth headphones in this day and age you'll begin to find everything problematic.

alexfithero I agree but if you’re going for quality, I for one have noticed that just having a cable doesn’t do squat. If you have a good set of cans, they’re wasted unless you use them with a good DAC and amplifier. In which case you wouldn’t even use the 3.5mm anyway because you’ll be using your own better external DAC and audio equipment

no one uses those anymore, everyone has bluetooth headphones. if you're a hardcore audiophile like i am though you'll be using a seperate external high fidelity DAC anyways.

Troll Tommy Gaming that doesn’t make sense. Even if phones get to the point where (I hope) they come VR ready, it’s irrelevant because you could still fit that several times over inside a pc case. Mobile gaming and pc gaming are both great, but that doesn’t change the fact you can’t go with shitty peripherals for either and still expect the best value

Android smartphone makers can put those fancy price tags because they don't have to invest in making chips, which the last time I checked are the brains of a smartphone, or software, which is essential, I think?

I have 64GB DDR4 3200Mhz and 16cores. That is beast. A smartphone is not beast.

The 64GB has been filled up quite a few times.
For gaming there are better machines. But beast is still a beast, even if it's not the best for gaming. However, GPU matters the most anyway. Especially if you don't play 720p only.
