So, I finished 13 reasons why and I couldn't stop thinking about these two.
I've ship them since season 1 and knowing that they were dating in secret just made me ship them even more.
They deserved so much better!
Think of it this way,at least Hannah experienced genuine love (romantically) before she died

i think I’m slowly getting why hannah put zach on the tapes and why she said those stuffs in the tape but never mentioned their relationship... probably because the real reason was that she felt like the whole summer thing was nothing to zack when it meant so much to her. She probably didn’t want everyone to know about their relationship (just as zach wanted) so instead of telling their story, she used the “zach threw away my note” as one of the reasons when zach actually kept the note... and he actually cared for hannah all along, he even kept her picture. I just regret that they never got the chance to say how they really felt for each other

The reason they broke up was both Hannah AND Zach's fault because they both let each other go. Hannah didn't tell him how she felt so she let him go, and Zach didn't tell her how he felt and he let her go. They both have a problem with showing and explaining how they feel. Sucks cause they were perfect together and Zach woulda really taken care of her. :/ Zach and Hannah's relationship was so much better than Clay's and Hannah's imo
But he didn't take care of her. He didn't even claim her as his girlfriend. He had a chance to stand up for her and he didn't. Their relationship was literally a secret, so I don't see how that's a healthy or good relationship.

Robyn Murphy-Erickson I just feel like it didn’t take Hannah’s death for Zach to see Hannah for who she really was, a beautiful but flawed and very human girl, Clay spent nearly 2 seasons building her up and putting her on a pedestal, I’m glad that Clay is finally moving on from Hannah but there’s no denying he did have a Madonna complex when it came to her, which imo made it impossible for Hannah to really see him as someone she could confide in or feel like she was worthy of living up to HIS image of her

Zach never made it offical & lied to his friends about her because he was embarrassed lmao in what world. It's okay to ship them but Clay def treated Hanna better to the point where she thought she didnt deserve him.
Zach is a sweetie pie but clay had more respect for her and was more understanding. Zach, if given the chance probably would've been the same, but clay did that from when he first met Hannah

According me, this thing between zach and Hannah was beautiful and real. Their relationship was so beautiful, pure, sweet and honest. I feel if Zach have tried a little, they would have been the best couple together. I love you guy, you are so cute.

I've loved clay and hannah since the first ep and I never knew that in s2 I would be stanning over zach and hannah. The show is so so beautiful you cannot even imagine. It's not cliche, not typical; and shows the real problems. I cannot forget this show. This show CANNOT be forgotten.

Everybody has their own pros and cons, and Zach and Clay both were no exception. But ultimately, I feel for Hannah because she couldn't find happiness anywhere and her trust was broken a lot of times.

i liked this relationship a lot and i felt like it was such a good addition to the second season. we never actually got to see hannah in a relationship and feel genuinely cared about by a boyfriend. zach really did care about her too.

Notice how ever since hannah died. We haven’t seen Zach truly happy once. He went down a dark path after she left him all alone.
It's not bcoz of her, he was sad but strong enough to move on unlike clay who just had no idea what happened after her death, but had to agree zach and hannah looked perfect together
When I first watched season 2 episode 6 I cried. It made so happy to see Hanna smile and just forget about everything. They were so cute, and I cried even more because I realized that they never revealed their feelings for each other and maybe when they stayed together and talked about everything, Hanna maybe would be still alive. But that never happened

I still love Hannah and Clay as a couple more, but OH MY JESUS THEY ARE SO GOOD. Zach is so sweet and Hannah was so giggly and they just looked...happy. there was no seriousness and they just looked like they were always having fun. I love them together so much.

thats not true. Zach didnt even want to make her official in front of his friends. Clay always respected her, from day one and wouldnt have histated a second to say, THIS IS HANNAH, MY GIRLFRIEND. Hannah and Zach wouldve been this relationship which wouldve ended after highschool. Clay and her would been a long term, esp. since hannah had feelings for him but she thought she was not good enough for him. Zach hurted her, Clay never did, at least not with knowing. Zach knew what he did, he knew that he lied to his friends about her. Thats the worse that you couldve done
