Thank you for your kind words. :) The sound is straight from the Kawai CS6, directly recorded into a USB stick as a mp3 file and then enhanced with a little touch of reverb
Magical. You have great command of this work. The melody sings out and your arpeggio work in both hands is remarkable to say the least. Could listen to this forever.
An especially beautiful interpretation of this gorgeous piece, thank you so much! I especially enjoy your playing and have been watching your videos a lot lately.
This is an absolutely wonderful performance. I've been looking into more Schubert recently, and this impromptu really defines his style. You bring the subtleties of melody and I can really feel it ebbing and flowing. I also like how you give it the right amount of tension. Bravo!
Thank you! Although, I'm actually not 100% satisfied with this recording. Some of the phrases were rather uneven. Perhaps I'll do another recording in the near future.
Can't get over how magnificent your playing is throughout this wonderful piece. I listen a lot to Horowitz play this and I've always been amazed by the delicacy of his angel fingers and his resulting tone. However ,although your approach is different , I find it every bit as enjoyable and moving. When I read in a previous comment that you were playing a digital piano I immediately stuck my best headphones on and listened again --and do you know what? I admire the whole thing even more now! I think you should get a job demonstrating Kawai digitals..... their sales would rocket. And to all those acoustic purists out there please open your ears, minds and hearts to this and believe in the merits of modern technology. You have a remarkable set of talents. I'm truly blown away!
Thank you. I too love Horowitz's interpretation of this Impromptu. I am actually considering doing another rendition of this beautiful Impromptu as I'm not 100% satisfied with this recording. The sound you're hearing in this video has a touch of added reverb which I think significantly improves the Kawai digital sound. However I still prefer the Ravenscroft 275 VST sound over the Kawai.
No mics needed for this one. The sound is straight from the Kawai CS6 digital piano, directly recorded into a USB stick as a mp3 file, with a touch of reverb added afterwards.
Divino Schubert
This is actually my most favorite piece of music. You played it wonderfully. I'm moved. Thanks.

Fantastic job voicing the melody on a difficult piece. Bravo!
One of the most beautiful pieces of music for the piano ever written - and your performance is outstanding. Thanks for this.
an absolute delight!
I'm looking forward to your new version whenever your ready!! I'll still love this though if you don't mind, it's become like a wee friend lately.
