I canNOT wait to try this! I was searching for something completely different to do, but YT suggested this! I'm looking for craft ideas to keep my kiddo busy this summer and THIS is IT! Thank you!
These are so beautiful!!! White with silver and black running through would also look amazing!!! Totally handmade from start to finish.... I love that idea!!! What a great aesthetic ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Alan!! I found you on Instagram! I love RUclips tutorials and candles so this is awesome!! I will be watching and learning!! This is really exciting. I am a crochet channel and I will definitely share your channel link to my friends!! Have a great week!!🧶❤️🕯
Thanks so much for this video--I've tried it and it really works! I was wondering if I can use this technique before my vessel has cured 2 weeks or whether I should wait.
Hi Myriam! You would need to seal the vessel with a heat-proof and candle safe sealer prior to making one of these into a candle. I’ll try to link my video on how I do this below. Love and light always 💛✨🌱
Hi, late to this party but I tried this technique today on a cured, unsealed jar in gypsum. I was out of distilled water so used room temp tap water and the same Krylon gold leaf. The paint slid right off the jar. Tried 5 times and same result. Any advice? Thanks…love your videos!
Hi there! Sometimes a little coloring gets on the inside but that doesn’t negatively effect the final product in my opinion. You just have to make sure you properly seal them before use! Love and light 💛🌱
Just curious whenever you’re finished where do you dispose of the water I know you don’t rinse it down the sink do you just put it in the yard and Or what
Hi Tracy! The leftover water I pour down the toilet-the paint is generally all gone once it has been used up from hydrodipping. Love and light always 💛🌱
Hi Tracy! Yes, the gold paint I used is linked in the description box of this video. The teal paint is just a basic Krylon teal color. I hope this helps! Love and light always 💛🌱🍁✨
Oh my goodness. I love this technique and the vessels are beautiful.
Thank you Kellie!
Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

Yes, I think you could! Just wait to seal it until at least a week afterward to ensure all the water has evaporated.
Hi, is spray paint safe for candle jar with the heat of the candle... I'm wondering?

Amazing
Aww thank you!!!💛 I’m glad you enjoyed. Love and light always. 💛🌱
Do you dip the inside? If not how do you keep it from coloring the inside?
Hi there! Sometimes a little coloring gets on the inside but that doesn’t negatively effect the final product in my opinion. You just have to make sure you properly seal them before use! Love and light 💛🌱
Hi! I'm curious about how these vessels are to the touch once they are sealed. Does it feel dimensional or flat?
i'd say kind of in between but more dimensional and slightly tacky from the natural sealer i use.

Can you tell me which gold paint you bought and the teal color
Hi Tracy! Yes, the gold paint I used is linked in the description box of this video. The teal paint is just a basic Krylon teal color. I hope this helps! Love and light always 💛🌱🍁✨
Can I ask, what did you use as a vessel? It kinda looks like PVC?
Hi Tracie! Those are concrete candle vessels that I actually made myself, and there’s a tutorial linked in this video on how I made them.🌱
What do you use to seal them afterward?
Hi Kalypso! I use the preserver/sealer my Earth Safe Finishes. I’ll try to link a video I made on how I do it. Love and light 💛🌱

That’s not hydro dipping but it is cool.
What would you consider hydrodipping?
