This game has a family of goat-dogs, a fish woman and a lizard as some of its main characters, all of them presenting humanoid traits. Every single vendor in the game except for Sans is an anthropomorphic animal, and a large amount of monsters (the dogs in Snowdin, Monster Kid, Migosp, Everyman, etc.) are anthropomorphic animals as well. Toby Fox himself identifies as a dog ingame, even if it's not a humanoid one. Yet everyone hates this one character just for being someone's fursona, completely disregarding anything else about the character. Wow.
