Been listening to Shovels and Rope for 11 or 12 years and I'm constantly surprised that (at least on youtube) their following is not 100 times bigger than it is. The music is honest and brutal and beautiful. They have a truly phenomenal musical chemistry along with a whole host of original tunes that lay me flat every time I listen. This song is no exception. Thank you, Shovels and Rope.
We have several dogs, and we love them all, but we have one that this song seems to fit. This song makes me think of others we’ve had and one I had as a kid. Really special tune.
