George's nonbiological father. He adored Carl Perkin's. So neat he got to perform more than once with his guitar 🎸 idol. You can see the pure bliss.

I love my sweet George. He was a true lover of the old rockabilly. He was great at all he did. He was so happy playing music with his hero Carl Perkins. He was also extremely handsome. Mmmmmm. ❤️🌹❤️

George was really at home with the rockabilly guitar technique, and deeply influenced by Carl's style. Carl's influences showed up time and time again throughout the Beatle years and in Georges solo work later on. I miss you George and your wry sense of humor. People labeled George as the "Quiet Beatle" but I saw him more as the "Grounded One." He didn't let the "fame" aspect of show business get to him the way the other 3 did.

George grounded……😂 George was a great guy, but grounded wasn’t one of his qualities for a very long time. Now if you said he liked chasing p##sy you would be 100% correct. Great song with Carl Perkins.

Tony Littman Apparently, George and Joe were close neighbours. They became friends after Joe moved to Surrey, and George 'phoned him and said, "I don't know if you remember me, but we toured together in 1962. Do you fancy coming over and playing a few tunes?". They both loved ukuleles as well.

I hate to upset George Harrison fans (I'm one of them) but Carl runs away with this. This is a bit like watching the master and his apprentice. Don't forget Carl wrote a sang Blue Suede Shoes and let Elvis record it first (I don't know why).
