Amazing! For the grid, have you considered using the Sugarveil lace patterns? I feel like that might speed up the patterning process for those who don't have the dexterity to make clean gridwork

Knowing myself as I do, I'll probably have to purchase one like yours eventually. Plus, it'd be nice to have two rolling thicknesses to use.

Julia, these are sensational - a sheer work of art!!! But honestly, I don't know why anybody would want to do all this artwork on a cookie... It's not something you would eat and if it's supposed to be a decoration, why not make it in a different material 😉
Have you ever tried a cellophane bag instead of parchment, I think you'd find it much easier, a little water to stop it opening, the opening won't get bigger as you pipe like parchment, added bonus you can see in it
The gingerbread recipe is for small 3D construction. What if you wanted to do a larger project? How would you change the dough? I love all of your videos! Everything is so beautiful!
I was wondering that since your cookies really do not change shape drastically during baking if it would be possible to stamp a pattern into the raw dough to be fallowed along and piped after baking? For example using plastic needle point mesh to give a faint impression for more accurate line placement? That isint to say that your line placement isint impeccable but more so that I doubt I personally could achieve such beautiful results without some sort of outside help lol. I always look forward to these videos coming out. Your work is just so satisfying to watch.

It can be done with thread and pins, have you tried it with icing?
