I think Kavanagh done his best to further escalate the situation, being passive aggressive, its not meant to be a vehicle for self-promotion.

This is just a simple public space conflict with good resolution. These young Chinese asked him to remove their images from his previous video segment when they danced and played video with him. THEY DID NOT ASK HIM TO REMOVE THEIR IMAGES SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WERE IN THE BACKGROUND OF HIS FILMING.
They exchanged harsh words. Several arrogant young Chinese for sure. But they did not have physical fight. They did not press charges. The police officer de-escalated the situation. And they left each other alone. It is a normal public space conflict with good resolution.
Yet Brendan sensed a chance for 15 minutes of fame. So, he spun it into "CHINESE ARE INVADING OUR FREEDOM." When you generalize the actions of individuals into A PEOPLE, it turns into a REAL PROBLEM.
