But the bad thing was, most of them gave MERCY. He had to kill someone that wanted to help, but how? He had to break their mercy button, force them to fight. Most didn’t make it to him, falling to undyne. He was bought to trial for something he didn’t even want to do. His wife killing him was his nail in his coffin. The little sliver of hope that tori missed him was gone, replaced by not even hate, but by sadness. Despair. It wasn’t even toriel being forced. All Betty did was bring her memories, and show her the humans death. It was toriel who dealt the blow. All Betty did was help it along
To Toriel '' For his sake, at least pretend that you care about monsters this one time '' Gaster. Do you know the worst part? The whole monsterkind expect Toriel loves/admires him! They see him as a hero ( they are right! He IS a hero!) while Toriel sees him as a pathetic welp! Everyone was aware that he could use one SOUL to cross the barrier, but no one, literally no soul ( other than Toriel) said anything about that! Didn't she think why no one said anything? Did she really think that monsters were just too dumb to think of the same solution as her? No, they knew going to the surface was an impossible task, since either he would be killed by humans ( soul would refuse to attack humans) or humans would wait monster weapon in hand, nuclear weapons ready. Monsters would be doomed if Asgore went to the surface with one soul. He made the best decision in the worst sutiation ( yes,waiting for humans to fall instead of taking one SOUL and going to the surface was the best decision too) , yet his excuse of a queen wife calls him a coward while all she did was running away and beyraying her own kind! I feel so sorry for him

When I heard this song in glitchtale i felt really kinda sad for Asgore. No one deserves what he has been through no on could withstand the pain and suffering the guilt, the burden he is carrying evry sing second. I tried to find this before but was unable to but now the recommendation have blessed me with this masterpiece. I shall bestow this with the greatest honour i can- The Asgore songs playlist :)

I dont think that Asgore did what he did for revenge, the unique reason why Asgore declared the war to the humans and collected the souls of the humans that falls in the underground was to give the underground hope with the promise that one day they will be free. You can clearly see what I mean when you fight Asgore, in all moments he tryes to avoid battle and try to give you a last chance to go back when he says to you that when you want to battle him you have to go to the barrier, and in the fight is preaty clear that he is at his limit, his forcing himself to battle you, thats why he broke the mercy botton, and when you try to talk to him he stop listening to you after the 3rd, he is in all moment forcing himself to battle you when he never wanted to hurt you in the first place and he perfectly know that if he left you try to convince him he wouldnt be able to resist and keep fighting. Just think this, he is the king of the underground, one of the most (for not saying the most by far) powerfull monster in the underground, able to defeat undine without a problem, do you really think that if he was fighting in a normal state you would even have a chance even with the ability to reset?

This is beautiful as the original version. The artwork is so amazing, and the melody plays so smoothly. You are TRULY a genius when it comes to music. I get a feel of how dedicated you are to your work, and everyone is very appreciative! Again, I thank you from my heart (or SOUL in the case of the Undertale universe) for these tracks of beauty. the song right now reminds me of a figure who is not only a king but a broken shell of what he once was: a father, and husband for his family. Someone who is wondering if what their doing is worth it. after all these years and has lost their way. Asgore fits this description instantly. the poor king had lost his entire family because of the humans and his actions of murdering children. and the poor guy never got to play catch with asreil if no one noticed basily the point is NYX THIS IS AMAZING!
Asgore was a King, a Monarch of Authority for all the Monsters, He felt he needed his people to have hope, He adopted Chara into their Family, in one night, Chara and Asriel Tragically died, his Wife Left him, never to return. His Anger for the Humans turned to Depression, a Depression that can be lifted from watering flowers until the entire Throne Room became a Garden, he's broken, and will you SAVE him and put his SOUL back together
guys chill, just because Nyx is remaking certain music tracks does NOT mean Camilla is remaking older animations, at least for now. I don't have any experience in either things but it seems to me that making a music track is a lot less work than a whole animation (I'm not saying making music is easy).

The original song was my first song by Nyx. I didn't know what undertale was, I knew nothing about Glitchtale, and all I knew was "oooooo pretty song I found online that one time". Brings back memories.

the song right now reminds me of a figure who is not only a king but a broken shell of what he once was: a father, and husband for his family. Someone who is wondering if what their doing is worth it. after all these years and has lost their way. Asgore fits this description instantly. the poor king had lost his entire family because of the humans and his actions of murdering children. and the poor guy never got to play catch with asreil if no one noticed

He adopted Chara into their Family, in one night, Chara and Asriel Tragically died, his Wife Left him, never to return.

Whenever I listen to this song I think about the 8 humans who fell down, and all their stories, and how every one of them ends.

guys chill, just because Nyx is remaking certain music tracks does NOT mean Camilla is remaking older animations, at least for now. I don't have any experience in either things but it seems to me that making a music track is a lot less work than a whole animation (I'm not saying making music is easy).
