LOL, Kim, your face when Todd tossed that tumbler was priceless! I don't mind crazing personally. In fact, some potters look for it on purpose. Others avoid it like the plague. Thanks for the help with the Muddy Waters!

Thank you guys for sharing! And nice to hear what you do with one pinhole, I always struggle what to do, refire, let it be, grind..

Pottery can be so frustrating, with those tiny imperfections!

@@undsethpottery yeah it is! Did you see my last kilnopening? I did refires and had much more pinholes then before😳😳 man that never happened to me before!

@@Ellen.s.atelier so frustrating and sometimes there just seems to be no reason why it’s happening, good one firing and not the next!
I don’t think I saw that one, I will go watch now!

Love them all and thanks for the tips, I wasn't sure about crazing but think on the outside should be fine and it does look cool

About the crawling with thick layers of glaze. Sometimes it helps to bisque the glaze first. So, I dip the first glaze, put my work back in the bisque. I put on a second layer and then I glaze fire. That way you have less water. Bisque is less of a hassle than glaze firing twice, to me.

That’s interesting, I have never heard of anyone doing this before, make sense! I’m going to try that!

Not sure outside paint, gorilla glue are food safe. May need to check into that. Thank you for sharing your creative glaze combinations.

Take it or leave it but I would never apply it to the inside of the mug!

Food safe only applies to where food touches. Not the bottom of a mug

Thanks Kim, great pieces! I love the look of crazing, but not on old china. I’ve read the cons, but I still like the look, especially on the outside of a piece.

Always a pleasure to watch you guys. I love the new combo but I don’t have most of the glazes you used to try it out. Not allowing myself to buy more until I used all I have at least once. Not counting the test tiles lol
I’m working on Christmas plates houses and trees at the moment and wondering about what glazes to use 😊
Bisque kiln is cooling down, glaze day tomorrow 😊

Great kiln load. So sorry Todd harasses you so much that you can’t pay attention!! Hahaha. Thanks soo much for all the tips those are amazing ideas!! I LOVE the new combo!! Todd makes a great Vanna but she wears such beautiful dresses! The crazing does but the crap out of me!! I see it as a defect and I’ve had pieces that have crazed on the outside craze later on the inside and vise versa. I hit all the buttons!!!❤

He does definitely cause distractions 😂
I love certain combinations, why oh why, do they have to craze!! At least with a liner glaze you know the inside won’t craze!
