Clefairy was originally intended to be the mascot, but Eevee or Charizard would probably be the most likely. I could also see Pokemon switching to a 'Flagship' system like Monster Hunter. Designing one intended mascot for every generation.

Priority ties are decided with the speed of each pokemon (faster one goes first)
If both also have the same speed, it gets decided at random like a speed tie
Altough idk what evs you and your opponent were using, maybe it was actually a 50/50

But right now, on Showdown, I can only see it as an "illegal" move.

I feel like not enough people make use of Cyclizar’s offensive capabilities, that thing outputs SERIOUS damage when banded.

Regenerator shed tail = near free substitute for a monster without wasting their move slot. You’d be crazy to use him as an offensive threat with his abysmal stats compared to any of the real attackers. It’s about as viable as a fake stall team.
