Oh I’m so happy that I was able to provide some inspiration for your very own inspiration which is creating this incredible piece. I just adore your approach to creating a tiny world within the garden and your teapot house and ideas for it are absolutely lovely. Can’t wait for the next instalment. Cheers, Christine
I just subscribed, found you with the hashtag. What a sweet idea to create the little teapot house and a garden filled with little creatures. I am excited to watch this piece bloom. 😊
Love the teapot house . I decorate dollhouses and also love tiny things, Beatrix potter etc . Making my down the garden path as a landscape book with elements from my own yard .in Atlanta . Jan-camellias , Feb - Lenten roses or crocus . Love your ideas !
Thank you Mary! I love Beatrix Potter and Jill Barklem too! Oh your garden path sounds as if it will be beautiful! Your flowers come out much earlier than ours up north here. Love your ideas too!
So creative! Looking fwd to seeing your ideas come to life. You really are an artist, Becca. Off to watch the next in the series. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Your mouse house is an adorable addition to your beautiful design. I am new to your channel and slow stitching, I have been inspired to attempt it myself after watching some videos of so many of you talented ladies and your lovely creations. Have subscribed and look forward to following your path xx
Love the Mouse and teapot theme. And the way you plan ahead to have the beginning at the end of the roll. Am looking forward to seeing how this progresses.
Your project is going to be beautiful. I too have made my own spool, I use disks from my bear making days at the ends of the tube, worked out quite well. I look forward to watching your progress.
Just came across your channel today and love this idea and thank you for sharing and your story behind choosing to do this. Really enjoyed and look forward to looking at more of your videos
What a charming theme! I love it. I decided to join the challenge i have fabrics, the spool and plenty of bits to adorn. But iI haven’t started yet because i was unsure of how the prompts were going to proceed. I love your background and your design. You have provided me the inspiration for the methodology. I will prepare the background and draw the idea i have in my head. Thank you so much for sharing your talent ❤️❤️
Thank you for your kind words, Tricia! I was hesitating too, not knowing how I would lay it all out. This one is proving to be a fun challenge! Once you start, it seems the ideas start to flow ☺️ xx
I know this is going to be wonderful. Do you use interfacing for the path and flowers? Your talent is amazing. Sometime when new baby's quilt is finished, I'm sure we would all love to see the finished product.... I'm so excited to see your work as we go along on this new project. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you Carolyn! I use two methods if I don’t want the edges to fray when I’m whip stitching something down. For some elements, I cut them out and run a little Fray Check along the edges, and others I’ll use interfacing. I’ll be happy to share the new baby’s quilt!
@@kelliryan464 That was a wonderful find, Elly! They’ll be perfect for stitch projects! You really have to get these treasures when you find them at a good price. Enjoy!
The spools seem to be plentiful from the mills in the eastern U.S. I find that when I'm looking for OOP books and discontinued yarns eBay and etsy are good resources.
Thank you Linda! I buy mostly online. The shops which carry very good quality are Fat Quarter Shop, Fort Worth Fabrics, Old South Fabrics, Stitches and Giggles, McKenna Ryan’s Pine Needles, and Shabby Fabrics. Sometimes I buy on Etsy too. I hope that helps ☺️
Do u get most of your material on line? Joanne's never has the material I see you using. Are there certain artists that make certain material that you are more drawn to? I just love the material you have.
Yes, I buy most of it online, though I’d rather see it in person. I don’t buy any fabric from Joann’s because of all the time I invest in a quilt. Years ago, I made a quilt with fabric from Joann’s and it ripped and deteriorated. The quilt wasn’t used, just put out as decoration. It wasn’t in the sun either, so ever since then I’ve learned to buy high quality cottons. I like Moda fabrics, Free Spirit, Andover fabrics….some designers are Joanna Figueroa, Kim Diehl, Kansas Troubles, Kathy Schmidt, Tula Pink, ……oh there are many! I hope that helps a little Carolyn. 😊
Adorable! Love Beatrix Potter! So glad your video popped up. Can't wait to see what you do!
Thank you! I love her work too!

I love your theme with the mouse and her friend. I wish I'd thought of that. You layout looks wonderful and so full of possibilities! Stay safe ❤️
Thank you Debbie! Truthfully, I wasn’t feeling so inspired and then this idea came to me. I think it will be fun!
Is the little mouse from a fabric and if so, where did you get it?... Your work is amazing and TFS.
Thank you Jane! Yes, the little mouse is from a Brambly Hedge fabric by Jill Barklem. I bought it years ago. You might find some on eBay.
I found antique wooden spools at EBay and received 6 beautiful spools 6 inch for thirteen dollars.
