My guest today, author and podcast host, Andrew Klavan, is a man who is and has been for decades actively engaged in dealing with the decline of our current culture through writing, producing films, and podcast commentary. I moved to the US in the early 2010s, when I was 20 year old - as a college student. We had a "critical thinking" class where the teacher took a transcript from Rush to analyze all the different types of "fallacies". I had no idea who he was nor did I know anything about American politics, but I remember saying something in the order of "I don't think that's what the author is necessarily saying here". Since it was a critical thinking class, I thought that kind of debate was encouraged, but my friends told me after the class I needed to stop defending Rush or I was gonna be outcast as a racist, sexist, etc. It was really mind boggling to me because from a distance I had always thought of the US as the country of freedom, but social pressures were obviously very strong.
Massively impressed to see Andrew on.
