  • A superb strike from James McAtee in first-half stoppage-time was the only goal of the game, as Sheffield United beat Brentford 1-0 at Bramall Lane.
The Bees, who are struggling with a raft of injuries, struggled to carve out any real chances, with a volley from Yoane Wissa the only effort that really tested opposition keeper Wes Foderingham.
There were appeals from the Bees for a penalty in the 95th minute, but the referee waved away their handball claims before blowing for full time.

I don’t know why the Bees keep attempting the same formation which fails to work. I think this team has potential for sure. But a win against Sheffield should be guaranteed for a team of this level.

Getting a bit big for your boots ay, as a neutral I saw Brentford at Brighton and both teams were average at best

@@raymondoakford8357 as I say, we still had quite a few injuries 😭 if we had our strongest squad we would give a good fight to most good teams

@@ZenoxOnDatInjuries are one thing but Brentford still has talent on the field in the likes of Wissa, Pinnock, and Norgaard. Brentford should’ve really beaten a team who lost to Burnley 5-0 and Newcastle 8-0.

The injuries and the suspensions are taking their toll on the Bees at the moment. I only saw the hightlights, but we appeared to be disjointed and did not really create that many chances. These games against teams in the last third of the table are the games that we really must win. Obviously, Sheffield United with an old new manager were definitely motivated and played with more passion.
I do not know what happened with their goal, it appeared that Ethan just hammered the ball away, unfortunately, into one of our own players from about one or two yards away and then the game took its course and we conceded what turned out to be the winner. I have to say, being totally objective, that it was a great goal.
Hopefully we will get some of our injured and suspended players back and will be able to get some more valuable points on the board which we definitely need.

Stop complaining, Frank has bread crumbs to work with at the moment, Jensen is by far the most creative player, he is out. Mbeumo isn´t world class but he is unpredictable which makes the attack scary at times, the rest are just a bunch of hard workers and it shows when trying to create, the passing simply isn´t good enough to break away, need Jensen for those long balls.
Brentford could go down if the injury crisis continues, they looked absolutely toothless vs Sheffield. They need someone strong upfront who is able to win and direct headers ... or a very fast runner. The rest of the team can handle the defense fine.

You're a little club which has had a plan for many years and it's payed off, You're in Premier league and to think Brentford fans are moaning just shows how good you've had it... until its gone then you realise
