To the people bitching about how Shaun plays with being stiff or no emotions have obviously never seen him live. He’s all over it. He seriously gives it his all and it shows.
When I first heard this song in Malaysia, I had no idea or a clue as to who was Breaking Benjamin was. Little did I know that I was gonna be absorbed into this pure awesomeness.
Chad was a legend, you can really tell the difference live too. This guy is definitely not on his level however I'm really happy that he's helping BB stay alive today and I love they new material.
Both are world class drummers and I love both of their styles. But they do have quite different playing styles, eventhough shaun is good at mimicking Chad when needed.
@@BorderflyTV I agree. They're both equally good imo. But I definitely prefer Shaun's writing style. Chad seemed to fall off on "Dear Agony". Several of the songs just lacked inspiration or power and came off as very "meh" and subdued. Shaun's writing is definitely more powerful and in your face.
Honesto Aquino yea shaun isn't as fluent as Chad was. I think Chad was better. Shaun still a decent drummer tho. Wish I could replace him honestly I know every bb song on the drums by heart
I do agree about Chad. He's an amazing drummer and so groovy and fluid. Shaun isnt a bad drummer persay. He just isn't as entertaining and not as smooth with his motions.
skiblink this was a very informal drum workshop on a cruise ship. There were only a few of us here. Not a big public audience & it was very early in the morning. I'm sure he had a late night the previous evening. He wasn't trying to entertain us, only teach us.
What? I love that snare sound, no annoying overtones, short and focused. Just like a rock snare should sound in my opinion. But thats all it is, opinions(Unless it actually would have sounded garbage). No need to be a dick about it...

Yesssss I freakin love him he’s such a good person
Shaun Foist is the drummer Breaking Benjamin deserves. Thank heavens Benjamin Burnley found him. Hallelujah 🙏

I think Shaun is on that level, just a different style. I actually prefer Shaun's drumming in BB. But we all got different tastes bro
Chad is a groove’ster. Shaun is a powerhorse.

His drumming skills are amazing..😊👍🏽🤘🥁looking easy.but when you try to play this,oh man..😀I don’t know.its so hard.
Sean, relative to Chad, is an amazing drummer too and has his own unique style which I respect. Awesome job!
This dude hits HARD!
July 27th Hershey PA ! ! ! :)
NEPA PROUD !!!
He's my fb friend :')
nurunnahar shilpi that’s amazing.
Awesome
Cool!)
3 chinas cymbal?
when youre endorsed and can get anything you want, why the fuck not.
Actually uses them all differently as well...
Chad had 3 or at least 2 i guess, and tons of effect cymbals and stuff
No offence to the guy I love his drumming and the songs but he seems a little stiff
Yea, he's definitely no CS!
DDrummer he is but he’s a super nice person
Big shoes to fill ..
Idk what's up with Ben. He let chad go only to replace chad that sounds like chad minus the proper feel and groove.

This guy's a Goober...very weak drummer with no originality

Ryan Locklear Why arent tou posting on yt man
Great comment about Foist, although Chad actually left BB.
And probably for the same reason that Ben is the only OG member left.
Perfectly ))
Can't stand the way this dude plays. So tight and no feeling.
He is kind of tightened up here, but when I saw him live with BB he had a big smile on his face lol it was pretty great.

Check out Gene Hoglan. Now THAT's a guy who can drum.
Hes hitting those poor cymbals waaay too hard
His endorsement deal with Sabian can afford it
Oh yeah, hitting them WAYY YO HARD yet he's giving that awful sounding snare love taps. Oh how Chads snare would sing!!
Oh dude get some emotions going on. A True step backwards for the band.. Why ben??
soundgarden 88 he’s a really good drummer
And a really nice person
Somebody call waste management pronto! Cuz that snare sound is trash.
