I really enjoy Matt's sense of wonder and curiosity about all of your animals. His interest and excitement mirrors my own as I learn about these beautiful creatures. I smile when he gets focused on something and then you can almost see when he says to himself, "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be filming Kenan."

I’ve had my Redfoot for 10 years in Wisconsin. He’s got so much personality and it’s been so much fun raising him. An inside tort that loves to leave his 6’x4’ house to roam the floor to cause trouble and takes supervised trips to explore the yard in the summer. I have big dreams of a wonderful garden space for him when I own a house. Tortoises are the best! Don’t let your location stop you from getting one. 😊

No, they didn't, because the Kamp doesn't have any grass for them to graze & tortoises are grazing animals, they absolutely need green grasses to graze or at the very least he should give them some hay. They are NOT living their best lives there.

First, Cherry Heads are a jungle tortoise and not a grassland/arid species like Sulcatas or Leopard Tortoises. They subside on a diet consisting of mainly succulent, tropical green vegetation, flowers, fruit, berries, etc. While they may eat certain grasses when other food is scarce it’s not their primary sustenance. Perhaps you would do better to reserve commenting until you did a bit more research/gained more experience in tortoise husbandry.

Hi Kenan Good morning, Happy Friday. Your new Cherry heads are so pretty. They are so lucky to come to your Kamp. Their previous took such good care of them. Now yours will have some new friends. And the news ones will have fun exploring their new home. It is so nice to see Matt wanting to learn all about all of your reptiles, and love being around them. Have a wonderful day. Sorry that my comment is late. Cindy

I don't feel comfortable keeping a tropical tortoise here in Maryland where it gets cold. I do have a Russian tortoise though and they can go down to 50 degrees at night no problem. Because they are much more forgiving of cold weather they are more suitable to keep in the climate in which I live. They can even live outside all year here in Maryland if acclimated to outdoor conditions starting in late spring even if they previously lived their entire lives indoors.
