Can't wait to try this, think I'll be cooling it down a bit for the family! My local curry house does an amazing Mint Chicken Tikka, would be amazing if you could teach me that one! The 30 minute series is just the best. We have loved everyone one of your recipes and enjoy cooking along.
Thanks Al, love your recipes keep them coming please. My wife thinks I make the best curry going these days.. the base is the key, all the dried spices in the oil works a treat!!
Looks great thanks Al. Happy New year to you and yours. Glad to see you do some more recipes with the new simple base, can't wait to try this one. Lolz on the missus bollocking the mess 😂😂
Hi Al welcome back and happy new year to you all. Looks like another banger, I will try this next week as I've already prepped all the stuff to make a chicken tikka jaipuri for tomorrow evening, but will Def do this one next week and let you know thx once again
Looks really good Al. I also got my spices through Spicey Joes, I had a bit of a problem at first, but Nigel eventually sorted it out. I feel a bit sorry for him as it is Evri who is letting him down; anyway, all good now, and I can finally put your spices to the test...Happy Days
I've been using the Pataks tandoori paste for over 20 years, it is a fantastic product for many uses in many dishes. Also, up north (in between Liverpool and Manchester), some curry establishments have a few tikka/tandoori combo dishes.
Hi Al, i notice you always add your garlic early on in the cooking process, whereas most chefs say that if added too soon it will burn and taste bitter, can you clarify.
Looks delicious! Welcome back, and Happy New Year to you too!
Will definitely be trying this one, thanks for all the lovely dishes you have brought us
So pleased to see you using base gravy again. As you say the taste and texture is different and not replicated in any other method.
I've only been following for a couple of months but you have taught me so much in that time, thanks Al! This one looks tremendous.
Looks like another banger Al. Guess what I am having for tea tomorrow ? Keep up the good work

Looks Tasty!!!! I didn't see you use the onions though that you boiled in the turmeric water??
He did at about 6:50
@@punt71 Thanks, I don't know how I missed that, I think because he didn't use them all and I saw them in the bowl at the end...my bad
Excellent as always! Audio is on the low side - music in the beginning is way way more loud than you Al.
Where did you eat on your trip to Birmingham?
5:31 no olive oil this time? I thought you always used it now.
😋
