My favorite Bassey cocktail is Kettle or Tito's Vodka, Dolans Dry Vermouth, too big fat Spanish olives, stuffed with Salton's Blue Cheese, Ice, Vodka your choice of Tito's (Made in the Great Republic of Texas! You’ve got to be kidding! This was horrendous. No passion. No nothing! They even flubbed some of the lyrics. I hope the audience didn’t pay to attend this ‘tribute’ - and call it that very loosely.
We don´t compare. We just perform her songs, because we love her, like you do. It's a pity, if no one is allowed to sing her songs live, because of course, nobody does it like her, she is unique. And so are our ladies!! That is the sense of making live music! It is never the same! And each person has the right to be it selves! I thought, that this was a strong impact she gave us!!
Their stage presence is a little messy. They can sing but I do think they need vocal lessons. They sound tired and out of breath. I also don’t understand the song selection if it’s a tribute to Shirley. Does Shirley love these songs or covered them? I give it a 3/10. Good job ladies.
