love this description from their bandcamp: "So what makes Let it Burn so good? Frenetic ‘tribal ‘drums ✓ Speaker shaking ‘fuzzwah’ guitar ✓ Devils Jukebox ‘banshee’ vocal ✓ Ridiculously filthy ‘fuzz bass’ groove ✓ Stop-you-in-our-tracks ‘flute’ breakdown ✓ Climatic ‘strings’ finale ✓"
So I'm watching a Chicago Cubs (Baseball) game and the local TV announcers start playing this, I've never heard of Goat, but it sounds great, so I come here and am not disappointed. I never thought I would discover a Swedish alternative band from Len Kasper and Jim Deshaies broadcasting a Cubs game on WGN. Anyway, now I'm a fan of the Cubs and Goat.
I literally stumble across this band playing The Park Stage at Glastonbury. I may have been a little worse for wear at the time but they kinda hypnotized me, it was amazing. And this track is awesome.
I discovered this song when I misspelled let it bleed..which is another great song by them. This band never disappoints. Much love from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
Listened to BBC6 and suddenly this song sucked me into the "Time Tunnel" back into the Sixties/Seventies where Hawkwind droves their dreadfull state of affairs. Unbelievable guitar line, stocial bass & drums plus the siren call voice like the band Bardo Pond.
And the BBC nearly shut 6 Music down in 2009! Criminal! Not now, though cos there's millions more listening... As Huey says- "the greatest station in the nation!" Keep it going 'cos it's ace! And I'm old..

Might have been RadMac, or maybe Gid Coe, but whoever got me into this should be knighted or the equivalent.... This is why Radio 6 should be a listed 'building' as 't'were'.... Fucking magnificent..Think my neighbours might now know more about GOAT... Which I'm sure they'll appreciate. I may have worn Soundcloud out.
Does the album include lyrics or not ? It's been more than a year and I still can't understand exactly what's being said and the lyrics are not available online...
It’s not, bitning it is straight-up vandalism. And yes, the culprints really did disguise themselves as Santa Claus and a gingerbread man and shot it with a flaming arrow.
@@anthonystrazza4586 Granted, the goat is probably less famous as a part of the annual Christmas celebrations in Gävle and more for having been burned down in various creative ways over the years. A fair amount of Swedes (at least from outside the town) tend to get somewhat disappointed when it doesn't get burned down.

Spot on
It's filthy 🤘
the radio edit is a bit disappointing on the last point, every time I randomly bump to it I go and listen to the full one afterwards.
Lovely. exactly what nothern life is.
The Woman in the Wall bought me here - FAB track, thank you!
This song makes me feel like I could eat the sun
That metaphor is so cool ❤
Definitely be some heartburn involved there 😊
KING

Classis.
Very reminiscent of Hawkwind.
RIP, Lemmy. I know you're Up There with the best of them 🎸🎤📻
I hear some Jefferson Airplane and some Butthole Surfers influence.
The more I listen to this band, the more I fall in love with them
Mayfair Witches turned me on to this Thank You Black Philip 🐐
A happy marriage of Sabbath, Tull and Traffic is what it sounds like to me. I can dig it.
Excellent interpretation
LOL I said the same thing except I went with Can instead of Traffic.

“The Woman in the Wall” brought me her.
Classic rock is still alive...
That guitar wah tone is fucking immense.
The flutes cool too................
The Woman in the Wall got me here. Good tune! Sorta gives me much 80s. Bananarama? 😊
this is my new favorite song! I haven't air guitared since the 90's !
So can relate to that comment... I have rarely air guitared in my life but this song made me do it in front of my kids.. Brilliant!
Great tune! Awesome bass and guitar fuzz tones. Totally dig it. Can't wait to hear the 6 + minute version.

My Slavic heart awake now..
They're Scandanavian...

Ace! a real fabulous one
My song of the year! For some reason to me it sounds like Alice in chains and Jethro tull! I don't know why
