      Rafael I think that as a society sex is still really taboo and that is really bad because it causing a lack of knowledge, empathy and communication, it also causes a lot of confusion for teenager and people when they become sexually active.
      If we as a society had mature conversations about sex then both genders would understand each other better, I mean I’ve lost count how many times I’ve had to explain to guys and other girls what a hymen actually is and how it’s not torn or a barrier

Unless your partner has something wrong with them and is incapable of respecting their sexual partner.. they will understand, and won’t want to hurt you... speak up!

    • @andrakarsten226
      @andrakarsten226 6 лет назад +15

      Peter Huskins There's nothing wrong with their relationship. I am in the exact same boat as this lady and you feel that you fail as a wofe if you don't satisfy your husband. It's nothing to do with your relationship but everything to do with her. And me. WE pressure ourselves to bite through the pain. We don't want to deny our husbands their marital rights. My husband NEVER pressure/asks me to have sex. It's all me. My own guilt trip. If a week goes by and we haven't had sex I feel like a failure.

    100% yes this is me. I remember doctors telling me that my painful prolonged periods were normal and it's supposed to be sore etc. It's so frustrating to not have doctors take you seriously especially if you are young. Periods are not supposed to be so painful that you faint and make you throw up and so on. And what she said about her husband, is how I feel about my boyfriend, i feel bad that we can't have sex even though he is really understanding. Sad other women go through this too but it's great to see all the supportive comments on this video!

      Hello fellow EndoWarrior! 💛 I too was diagnosed with stage IV Endometriosis in 2014. Since then I have had 4 laparoscopic surgeries and I honestly have felt worse after the last one I had in March of this year. My pain has doubled, all my symptoms are heightened and I’m bleeding every day for he last 33 days! ... I’m in the process of getting a consult with a gynecologist from a university hospital. I know I need my uterus removed as it has grown more than double it’s size and with the last surgery it was confirmed that I have endometriosis inside the uterus as well so I see no point in keeping it, problem is that I’m 26, single, no kids.. so all drs I have seen are very against doing a partial hysterectomy for me. I wanted to ask since you have gone through a hysterectomy in YOUR mid 20s how your outcome has been? Have you had relief of symptoms? I would be very grateful if you could share your experience with me as I am going to face another surgery soon. Thankyou in advance and power to you! 💪🏼🎗

      @maypaki alam if we were really cursed why did God allowed that Jesus the most perfect, the only begotten Son may be in a women’s body ?

    • @kennethfok
      @kennethfok 3 года назад +3

      @maypaki alam Please get the facts right. It is not a curse. The pain is caused by muscle contractions to push the baby out as well as the stretching of the birth canal. God designed human females with a smaller birth canal so they can walk on 2 legs instead of crawling like other animals on 4 legs. It is a compromise. And instead of saying it’s a curse, why not appreciate the many sacrifices a woman have to go through right from the start of puberty just to give us men the pleasure we want from sex as well as to give us children? Women go through this troublesome thing called menstruation every month and it’s painful for some. Their breast also develop and they have to wear bras which can be uncomfortable for some. And they experience pain during sex and childbirth. We men only enjoy penetrating their vagina during sex and playing with their breasts. So we should appreciate and respect women instead of saying it’s a curse. Women sacrifice themselves for us men despite knowing what they have to go through.

    • @kennethfok
      @kennethfok 3 года назад +3

      @maypaki alam I think you need to stop all this. Because you are doing nothing but instilling fear into women. It’s not like they don’t know what is going to happen, but the fact that you keep mentioning it makes them even more fearful. And the more fear they have, the more pain they will feel.

    I think you bullied a girl in your life because of their periods right? Please stop doing it. You know how bad it can be? Once my mom needed to go to the hospital because really painful cramps.
    And yes, guys can't really feel pain during sex but girls....specially at first time....
    And last , when a child borns....
    I think its the most painful thing of these.. ...okay , I dont really want to talk more about this.
    So boys , please stop bullying girls for their periods etc.
    Keep up girls! Were strong!❤👊
    Edit: Okay , yes you're right not ALL the boys are bullying girls for their periods , but a lot of them are.

      I think guys, especially teens, should simply be educated on sex and how it works better so it won't lead to these consequences. For example i didn't know women have a thing called hymen until my friend told me and i can't imagine how it feels like to have it torn.

      Guys hold on. The girl has a point! But I've never met anyone who has bullied a girl because they are on their periods(even if they do it's just harsh I mean all girls are born this way, it's not a sin it is just puberty/growing up, A girl entering womanhood). Also guys genitals are external(while girl's are internal)girls use that to your advantage against a bully/some person sexually harassing you ;).Menstruation is an indication of a girl becoming a woman(and preparing the body for parenthood as women are the ones who give birth). Last but not least, respect women!

  • @emmahales

    I went through all of this as well. But it took an emergency call out on new years eve 2009 as I woke up with pain from my neck to down to the tops of my legs. The pain radiated that much I couldn't pin point where it was coming from. Paramedics gave me 3 shots of morphine to bring the pain down to bearable levels. Took 10 months thereafter to finally get an operation to remove two 5 cm blood clots, one on each ovary, multiple smaller ones, and they also found that pretty much all of my ovaries are scarred from previous blood clots that eventually ripped off by themselves. I cannot have children due to endometriosis, which in my eyes, is no where near taken as seriously as I'd like it to be. The whole time I was pretty much fighting with the gyneacologist, who was a man, to get something done about it.
    From all I went through, I really now do feel men should not be gyneacologists as they have Zero idea how it feels to be a woman, and the crap we have to go through during a lifetime...

      I agree, a lot of men think since they know the biological facts of a woman’s body that they make good gynaecologists, and while there are some great ones for a lot of them experiencing it makes a world of difference, you can always count on a female gynaecologist to react when you mention sex feels like a knife twisted up your vagina.

I've been so sick that I had to decide early on that I could not have children because I would not be able to take care of them. Many doctors dismissed me and my pain....until now. I would say to anybody who has a doctor that is not willing to investigate any health issues they bring in, seemingly big or small, to keep looking until you find one that does. There are definitely some great ones out there and your health is far too important to be settling with a GP that doesn't respect that.

    • @helcolina553
      @helcolina553 6 лет назад +1

      Noah Sebastian so people that do have painful sex know that there might be something wrong with their bodies. I was told in school that sex can hurt, so not knowing there might be a disease causing it would possibly have me just ignore it and think of it as normal or stop having sex.
      Also so people that might have sex with people that have endometriosis can understand that certain things are not going to be possible and that they have pay very close attention to their partner and their partners's bodylanguage.

    • @noahsebastian7690
      @noahsebastian7690 6 лет назад +1

      Helcolina Plasticine some woman said sex hurts and it has nothing to do with the disease . Its just because they're are new to sex. But im still confuse and scared to have sex thinking my partner might get hurt. what if it hurts them but they didn't know they have endometriosis

    • @helcolina553
      @helcolina553 6 лет назад

      Noah Sebastian in the first case: its not a bad thing to go to a doctor and have it checked, even if it turns out to be nothing or harmless. Ignoring signals your body gives you however can have fatal consequences.
      Secondly: you should absolutely always pay attention to your partner while having sex. It doesnt take a genius to recognise someone not enjoying something, let alone hurting. When in doubt: ask them directly. However if you and your partner do find out about anything like this disease you can recognise signs even more easily because you know what to look for specifically.

    I can really relate to this. For my first two years of having sex I was always in so much pain.
    I remember my first relationship..it took us 3 attempts to have sex because it hurt so mucv. I told him that I was in pain..and all he said was "well that's how it is when you haven't had sex that often". I've had sex before with another guy and it also hurt like shit..so I just thought that's how sex is. I tried telling him a couple more times but he really made me believe that it was my fault and that I'll get used to it at some point.
    Around 1,5 years later I met a guy who was really really gentle to me..and that was the first time in my life when sex actually felt good. It was still hurting sometimes but a lot less than it used to.
    I could never understand why my friends talked about how amazing sex was, and how they're doing it almost every day of the week with their bfs. I always needed at least 4 days to recover from the pain between my legs until I could bear it again..
    I was so happy to meet that guy who showed me that sex CAN be great and that it's not my fault.

    This video really captured what it’s like to deal with painful reproductive diseases and the very challenging experiences we as women face. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis in 2015, it took 6 years to diagnose and most health care professionals just told me I was normal all those years before. It can be extremely painful and life changing. I myself have dealt with it for 10 years, and half that time I have been disabled and unable to work. Additionally, no doctor has ever helped me to get disability, though I’ve tried. One particular UCI social worker told me that I wouldn’t be given disability because what I have isn’t considered a disability, but a reproductive disorder.

      Olivia Harris I agree-the husband is great, but it’s interesting that there is so much fanfare for a man being a good human being and doing something any decent person should do (and unfortunately, many wouldn’t). Not to discredit him at all. But she endured a lot before figuring out what was going on, including being willing to have sex despite the excruciating pain because she wanted to be a good partner, which is not what should be expected of a person.

    I can say from experience as a woman it's become very common within the NHS for doctors to ignore women or sat it's just in our head.
    There's still a long way to go with getting the voices of women respected and valued in that area of society.
    You'll be treated much better in the private sector.

    The fact that the doctor gave her ibruprofen and didn't think anything was wrong until she mentioned not getting pregnant- it's as if he only cared about her issue when it came to her ability to carry a child, absolutely sickening. People with uteruses are more than wombs and male doctors (and all doctors for that matter) need to realize it. Her years of pain and suffering only came to a conclusion when her fertility was brought up. Says a lot.

      GOD IS A MALE:
      I just had a THEOLOGICAL DISCOVERY: God is indeed a MALE. The reasons are:
      1.) If God is a female, she would never inflict women with painful intercourse. She would merely inflict them with infertility. Her empathy towards women's feelings will always prevail.
      2.) It is known in history that men treat women as property. Therefore, if God inflicts a woman with primary vaginismus, vulvodynia, thick hymen dry vagina, vulvar vestubilitis, then her vagina is now the property of God. She's meant to remain celibate control to keep the population down. A female god will never treat anyone as property.
      This explains why painful intercourse is MORE COMMON among females than males. Because God is a MALE and treats some women as his property to control the population.
      Men can have sexual problems too but most of them are not physically painful to their penises. Vaginal strength is an acquired strength. Such strength can only happen if she is no longer a virgin. After she attained her vaginal strength, she can have intercourse without pain. It takes a strong vagina to accommodate a penis.
      l am now an enlightened man.
