My dash cam caught this serpent meteor or meteorite falling to the earth seen over the Bay Area in California on Wednesday around 528pm. It was a mysterious bright light in the sky at the end of this video. If you look closely there is a shooting star under the red light right before I turn in the beginning too.
Congratulations to the people who Graduated college, got their first job, and reached retirement while waiting for the meteor. 👏 👏 👏

I live 45 minutes outside of Yellowstone in Montana.....I literally see a few of these every week!!I've definitely noticed a huge uptick in recent months.I used to just see what I call "shooting stars" (just white streaks), lately they look like much larger (closer perhaps??), fiery, burning balls, that emit vast amounts of greenish-blue color, both from the fireball itself, and from the much thicker and longer tail. They are also visible much longer than the "shooting stars."
That must be the green comet. I heard that it's passing by now and we can see it once every 50,000 years. I wish I could see it too!
That sounds absolutely amazing. I miss so much not living in areas like those.
Some say... That the alleged planet X that scientists have been searching for, when it's orbit nears earth drags objects from the ort cloud. Apparently there's a cycle ( if you're into Graham Hancock and others like him) of which the earth gets bombarded more or less heavily on a periodic time scale, the last of these supposed events being the Younger Dryas. We just had a meteor the size of a large box truck come closer to the earth than some of our orbiting satellites and the green comet alluded to in another comment. The night sky is about to get crowded.

My son and I saw one driving through Reno NV, I even contacted the local news asking anyone else saw what we saw. No one did, there was a lot of cars on the highway with us, no way were the only ones who saw it. Had to land somewhere in the mountains, yet no one reported it. We know we saw it, it’s freaky how it was not seen nor reported by anyone else. It was huge and bright, we looked for a explosion where it looked like it went down. Never saw it, you don’t forget when something like this happens right in front of you. It was at night too, so it was more noticeable. Guess it’s something my son and I were the lucky ones to see it, or no one else wanted to let anyone know what they saw ? So odd
How long ago?
You should look on Google maps to find possible sites. It would make for a great trip and some meteorites are worth tens of thousands of dollars.
These meteors are usually way farther away than they appear.
I'm pretty sure other people saw it too. Just cuz t they didn't report it to the news doesn't mean nobody else saw it. I've seen lots of stuff and don't report it.
@@tracypaxton1054 plus alot of them disintegrate in the atmosphere before having the chance to hit the earth.. even if they appear to have been close enough that they landed.

Meteorites don't fall. Meteors do. Meteorites have landed.
That meteorite glowed quite brightly when it hit the Earth's atmosphere.
Yess very greenish
@@ceressalopez It may have had a high copper content. Copper has a greenish glow when heated by atmospheric gases.
@@chetpomeroy1399 why would it have stopped though?
@@YoMcNeely One of three things would have happened:
1.) Disintegrated in Earth's atmosphere,
2.) Hit the Earth; or
3.) Trajectory of meteor causes it to leave the Earth's atmosphere.
Any of the above scenarios would have caused it to stop glowing.

What’s amazing is that people will post a meteor or nuclear disaster and still add music to the video.
In the Book of Revelation, wormwood is mentioned in chapter 8, verse 10-11, which reads:
"And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter."
This passage is part of a series of judgments or plagues that are unleashed upon the earth in the book of Revelation. The falling star, identified as wormwood, causes a third of the freshwater sources to become bitter and undrinkable, resulting in many deaths.
It sounds like you’re describing Apophis. NASA predicts that it will impact Earth on April 13th, 2029, which falls on a Friday.
@@7SeventhFromAdam could be
The seventh person from Adam in the genealogy in the Bible is Enoch.
Enoch lived for 365 years and then "he was no more, because God took him away." Enoch did not die a natural death, but was instead taken directly into heaven by God. The book of Hebrews in the New Testament also references Enoch and states that "by faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away."
@@7SeventhFromAdamnot apophis its too small it's only 1,100 ft all it can do is destroy any major city. Now if 1 hits 1 mile or more then much more destruction. 10 miles or more that ends all life, but that's something God won't do.

Yeah you are lucky. Not many people have been privileged enough to see one in person you were in the car which detracts from the experience but better than not seeing it at all. The one that I saw was after the bar sitting on my friends front steps in January smoking cigarettes cause there was no smoking in the house. So its 2 something am deathly quiet clear crisp winter 28 degrees. And all of a sudden the whole street lite up like high noon and we could actually hear it burning or whatever you want to call it it being that it was so bright we could see the smoke trail coming off of it and could see the literal flames on it as it went from like high left to right on a wanna say 45 degree angle and I literally was preparing for impact and it looked like it was 3 streets over it just dipped over the hill and the light went away no impact noise that was it. 3 seconds and gone. Since it was after 2 am in mid New England winter there was nothing about it on news or anyone to tell that would actually take me seriously. My friend acted like it was no big deal. I wanted to go look for pieces with metal detector. But it’s super hard to judge where or how far away it was. This was before cell phone cameras. Or else I would have captured the contrail it left. Any maybe someone else saw the same one like 2000-2005 most likely
5 year span? I'm guessing you really used to get wasted 😂 me too
the way the meteor sparked which indicated that it entered the earth’s atmosphere, pretty cool.

So, you are in your car by night, and you decide to film the road and the sky above with no reason . What a good idea.
My sister and I saw an asteroid fly by once. Around 1:30 AM, we were driving back from our dad's place, and we looked up and saw a big ass rock go floating past the horizon. It looked like a giant potato, bigger than the house it appeared to be behind.

Saw a meteor like this while driving on the 215 freeway in so cal, toward the 15 south. I was coming down from moreno valley passing perris, just before i approached those temecula mountains to get to the 15 freeway. I just see from the top of the sky exactly like this, a meteor break the atmosphere and then slooowly drop over the top of those mountains (cleveland nat. forest) the tail was beautifully long and fire red like this one. Just slowly dropping behind the mountain peaks a beautiful fireball. It was 1am so me and the one other car on the freeway slowed to like 20 mph and just stared at it. Took a solid 5 seconds of me saying wtffff nowayyyyyyy and the other 5 seconds i was driving 20mph in awe as it descended behind the mountains forever
