I like that the first sign the player is even there is enough for the guide to straight up leave. The alien invasion event only happens in after the wof so I’m assuming this guide knows the full story of what happened to the first guide and fears the player for it.
I love the attention to detail at 0:22. You can see the player holding onto the "arms" of the probe, causing them to shake around as they attempt to spin but can't.

To be fair he doesn't really sell anything useful to non-melee players or non flask players in general. Although he does sell venom to make venom related ammo I still prefer the likes of holy arrows or ichor arrows
Keep replaying this just for all the delicious details, like how the Guide throws a slice of cake for the Zoologist to catch, or the Arm Dealer giving the Angler his coat to use as a blanket, or the Guide (sorry, he's simply my fav) nopes the hell of of there the moment the Player appears.
To be fair, if the player is far enough along to summon UFOs, then they are already in Hardcore mode. Meaning the previous Guide was already sacrificed.
The mechanic was always my favorite npc, and seeing her and all the other npcs react with emotion just makes it all the better, and I absolutely love the part of the angler poofing away because he "leaves" and doesn't die
the angler is actually a kid, if any game contains child dying then the game gets a 18+ age rating, but terraria can't show kids dying as the game has an 10+ age rating

This is probably my personal favorite Terraria Animation. I love how we see they NPCs as a community and how much detail there is. Not to mention the animation style I think really fits Terraria.
The sheer amount of details in the scene with the UFO is amazing. The Barkeep is confused until he sees the thing heading for him The Weapons Dealer just shoots the thing The Engineer being >:[ The steampunker just leaving with a teleporter Absolute genius
So many things you wouldn't think of, like the chat at the end being those of the npcs actual in game possible names, so the steampunker is Isabella, Yuuki is the princess, Edgar is the clothier, Luigi painter, Abdosir dye trader, Merlyn wizard, Candy party girl, and Shiitake is the truffle.
Notice how the steampunker smiles while everyone else is confused, surprised or angry 0:25 edit: also the witch doctor taking a second to realize with his mask
@@gersongjr mechanic was literally the one who helped build the mechanical bosses while she was captured, I think she knows a thing or two about advanced tech
This is incredibly animated, like the dance with The Nurse and The Arms Dealer, it was so smooth! Not to mention how fluently the Martian probe flew! Absolutely *ASTONISHING!*
This is much too underrated and high quality, this deserves more recognition! The smooth animation, cute and simple artstyle, facial expressions, body language, and the little details(such as the overly smooth animation in the engineer's ale before the player swooped in), it's all too high quality for this video to have so little recognition, you'll get what you deserve for making a masterpiece like this!
The liquid physics in Mechanic's glass of ale are so GOOOD so is your ability to have characters express themselves through pure body language alone, like holy shit. Also witch doctor is adorable in this
I keep rewatching this video and I find new things every time. I really appreciate how the movements and stuff are timed to the music so well, it adds a very nice touch.
I love how this basically shows us the perspective of the NPCs: They’re just chilling and minding their own business. Suddenly our character, who is, in their eyes, an all powerful maniac who summons eldritch monsters and cosmic horrors for the sake of gaining more power, appears out of nowhere and summons one.
I'm actually kinda angry that the algorithm let something this awesome down. For a game with so much character and so many characters, Terraria lacks fan animations.
I heard the zoologist actually ate him, then proceeds to eat the party girl too. both times they are suddenly missing the zoologist was next to them the previous frame they were on screen
I LOVE the attention to detail in the last scene! The mechanic is just done, the angler actually does get scared and leave before the deathray comes, the zoologist is just looking up and smiling, the arms dealer tries to shoot the damn thing, etc!
This is genuinely a really great animation and I love this so much The amount of detail the smoothness the quality just frankly it's amazing, and I love the detail with the steampunker teleporting away that was funny :) along with the dance that the witch doctor and the dryad did.
I’ve watched this so many times to take in all the little details. Like the angler being asleep when this happens because it’s so late in the night. The steampunker being smug after she escapes, the wizard being confused, the truffle laughing his mushroom butt off, it’s all so well done!
@@vectorboom1982 at the end of the animation, the names that appear on chat are npc names. Isabella is Steampunker, Yuuki is Princess, Luigi is Painter, Abdosir is Dye Trader, Merlyn is Wizard, Candy is Party Girl, and Shiitake is Truffle.

I just love the player’s expressions, especially the whole body movement right before they get vaporized. It’s just so smooth and so good- enough that I’ve watched this a few times just cause it’s so fun.
I know next to nothing about Terraria, but the love that was poured into this animation shines through. I especially adored the way you animate gestures and expression. Their body language conveys so much, and the character interactions were adorable and funny. Overall, loved this.
Spoilers, read at your own risk! To summarise the video: The party you saw is a custom event that happens randomly during the day. As of what the guy (the "Protagonist", which is us) brought in the end is a martian probe that spawn on 2/3 of the map and in high altitude, when triggered it turns red and flies upward. Within that time you can kill it to stop it from triggering a event. The event is a wave battle that spawns enemies, and occasionally spawns a mini boss. Which is what you saw with the UFO. Edit: as what dabbing said, try the game. But dont join the terraria discord, it sucks. Not much to get help there aside from people who cant learn as they play, so they rather ask 1-3 questions everytime (which can be within the span of 1minute) they do something when it can be easily looked up
Actually, yeah, there's no particular reason to kill wall of flash for anyone really. Except the player who wants to beat the crap out of cosmic eldritch once more, especially with all loot from previous world.
I always loved that, the wall is literally the guardian of the world, the fact that we kill it causes an escalation and we just keep killing more and more stuff until inevitably we run out of things to kill, the terrarian saves the world not by being heroic but by being a murderous psychopath driven only by loot
I really loved this animation and would love to see more in this style Seeing the NPCs vibing together filled my heart and put a smile on my face Good job :)

idk if anyone has mentioned this but in the beginning, the nurse and arms dealer dance is so BEAUTIFULLY animated !!!! the way the arms dealer's coat lifts when he picks his foot up is so smooth im absolutely in love with it!!
the zoologist eating cake as a fox maniac is just my new favorite vibe for a character to have
I'm OVERWHELMED by the response to this video!! Thank you all so much for all your kind comments, and special thanks to Chippy for the shoutout :) more animations to come!
Your animation is soooo cool
congrats on 100K views
congrats on 100k views!!
I'm so sad that this took a shout out for me to see your amazing animation here.
Really looking forward to what else you produce in the future as its so satisfying to rewatch your animations 😊👍

You deserve it my guy, for a quality like no other
Honestly, the witch doctor is such an underrated npc, and you gave him so much character. I really appreciate that:)
witch doctor my friend witch doctor
She’s best friends with the Druid. It’s nice to see that.
@@Steamer-fp1nl dryad
To be fair he doesn't really sell anything useful to non-melee players or non flask players in general. Although he does sell venom to make venom related ammo I still prefer the likes of holy arrows or ichor arrows
Reply to edit : I completely forgot about summoner so he is quite essential for summoner and melee flask users and for summoners who use flasks
There’s something scarily fluid about this guy’s animations.
The scene where the saucer vaporizes everyone has so much detail, like the Steampunker escaping with her teleporter. Instantly subscribed.
And the Angler left.
And the Golfer isn't there (which you'd think the Golfer would be there to make sure his little sister doesn't get in trouble)
I didn't think anyone else noticed
The Arms Dealer starts blasting the thing with shells, such detail.
The Merchant hiding under the table got me
I love how at 0:23 you can barely see the guide's chair is slightly rocking, immediately leaving when he saw the player
Well knowing that players is known for putting their npc’s in dangers, especially guides, he would know well to get away.
I’ve always wondered how the other npc’s react when there just chatting with the guide and watch him disintegrate when I throw his rag doll into lava
So that explains the light in the top left corner of the apartment....
To be fair, if the player is far enough along to summon UFOs, then they are already in Hardcore mode.
Meaning the previous Guide was already sacrificed.
@@Shenorai Mate you don’t gotta be in hardcore to do martians lol
Man, the animation of the player is so fluid and natural, it's not something you see everyday. His sudden death even got me a laugh. Good job!
I love how you animated the NPC's that like each other (to get lower prices and pylons). That was a really detailed touch.
@@jpeg3083 not always true, there have been a few 17+ games where kids can die, though they're quite rare. It's mostly just that most people don't exactly want to kill or see a child die.
@@jpeg3083 I'm pretty sure they were just mocking Fallout 4.
My favorite is steampunker, she lives
@@zerumsiru5204 It's because of how the EU (I think) rates games. It's perfectly fine for children to die in the U.S (in video games) but games with child death get a high age rating or they might not be allowed at all not sure
Dude, this was awesome, don’t know what stage of life your in, but don’t give up on these animations. And it was actually a lil comical, plus smoothest movement I’ve seen in a fan made animation in awhile :)
The first thing that stuck out to me was how smooth it was- so satisfying
The animation was smooth and clean, looks like someone who has experienced with animation. Really good
Heck yeah
Stage of life, even...
Yes
This is probably my personal favorite Terraria Animation. I love how we see they NPCs as a community and how much detail there is. Not to mention the animation style I think really fits Terraria.
The steampunker just casually teleporting out of there is so funny
The sheer amount of details in the scene with the UFO is amazing.
The Barkeep is confused until he sees the thing heading for him
The Weapons Dealer just shoots the thing
The Engineer being >:[
The steampunker just leaving with a teleporter
Absolute genius
Wow, a lot of hidden details
the angler dissapear
So many things you wouldn't think of, like the chat at the end being those of the npcs actual in game possible names, so the steampunker is Isabella, Yuuki is the princess, Edgar is the clothier, Luigi painter, Abdosir dye trader, Merlyn wizard, Candy party girl, and Shiitake is the truffle.
Notice how the steampunker smiles while everyone else is confused, surprised or angry 0:25 edit: also the witch doctor taking a second to realize with his mask
The guide aleardy knows and left before everyone
You can tell that they've done this before, since the mechanic reacts so fast.
Judging by the player's performance, I assume the mechanic knows this because, well, she's *the* mechanic
@@dyc_e meh i would say the steampunker or cyborg, mechanics arent that advanced to literally know alien technology
no-one could forget the pirate ship incident
and the guide already left
@@gersongjr mechanic was literally the one who helped build the mechanical bosses while she was captured, I think she knows a thing or two about advanced tech
Those few frames at the end when the mechanic looks like a grumpy toddler when his mom won't buy mcdonalds
This is incredibly animated, like the dance with The Nurse and The Arms Dealer, it was so smooth! Not to mention how fluently the Martian probe flew! Absolutely *ASTONISHING!*
Jebus Christmas I edited that like five times.
Took the words out of my mouth
If only npcs interacted with you THIS much to try and stop you from triggering certain events.
"Tonight, we celebrate the destruction of the four celestial pillars!"
"you *WHAT* "

Тут каждый кадр можно рассматривать ВЕЧНО! Как же классно передано что игрок творит такую дичь под предлогом что " он же победит всех злодеев"
The liquid physics in Mechanic's glass of ale are so GOOOD
so is your ability to have characters express themselves through pure body language alone, like holy shit.
Also witch doctor is adorable in this

The angler's face at the same frame is just as good too
OMG YOU'RE RIGHT lol
I like how at 0:29 the player's body language basically says "Okay, I hear you. Counterpoint; Hehe sentient lightbulb go swee."
I keep rewatching this video and I find new things every time. I really appreciate how the movements and stuff are timed to the music so well, it adds a very nice touch.
I love how this basically shows us the perspective of the NPCs:
They’re just chilling and minding their own business.
The algorithm giveth and the algorithm taketh away, blessed the the name of the algorithm
Also the algorithm brought me here, so
and then a majority of the fan animations out there are either parodies or just not that interesting :(
…I think it’s doing pretty good now. And especially their newer animation.
Ay yo, it's coming back around
I love how at 0:24 the guide has already fled, knowing exactly what was about to go down
He's put up with us for too long, he knows to run the instant we start smiling.
That and he knows what happened to the last guide...
I mean, he would know a thing or two about dying
I heard the zoologist actually ate him, then proceeds to eat the party girl too. both times they are suddenly missing the zoologist was next to them the previous frame they were on screen
@@BrianatorFTW the guide bailed. you can see his chair move a bit at 0:22
@@BrianatorFTW Pretty sure the party girl just peaced out too, because she's one of the survivors in the chat (Candy).
I LOVE the attention to detail in the last scene! The mechanic is just done, the angler actually does get scared and leave before the deathray comes, the zoologist is just looking up and smiling, the arms dealer tries to shoot the damn thing, etc!
Let me do it for you 🥺🐶🦊

...What?
Zoologist likes a dog
@@anginhtran4265

Yah ,she looks likes a dog because her face and her act likes a dog.
This is genuinely a really great animation and I love this so much The amount of detail the smoothness the quality just frankly it's amazing, and I love the detail with the steampunker teleporting away that was funny :) along with the dance that the witch doctor and the dryad did.
Fun fact: The guide wears two party hats as a reference to the demons he has to be sacrificed to for the progression of Terraria. Nice touch! 👍
And not because he wants to look like the Zoologist, right?
@@victorvirgili4447 I would be convinced that this was the case if the hats weren't purple.
He also disappeared the moment the player arrived.
I thought it was because in game the zoologist doesn't wear a party hat.
@@AeliniaEnquist To be fair, the dryad isn't wearing a hat, but the witch doctor is wearing two. I guess that could be the case.
I’ve watched this so many times to take in all the little details.
Like the angler being asleep when this happens because it’s so late in the night. The steampunker being smug after she escapes, the wizard being confused, the truffle laughing his mushroom butt off, it’s all so well done!
I can’t find the wizard, tax collector, or Truffle

Certainly better than expected. You were able to capture their personalities perfectly here
the zoologist looking at the laser like its a laser pointer
I just realized that the reason the zoologist is in their feral form is cause it’s a full moon, and I love that fact
0:23 I like the detail of the guide chair shaking and him being just gone, implying he dipped because he 100% knows what that thing is, and what's about to go down.
Wow. I noticed he had left and figured he went to his room upstairs (hence the light at 0:28), so I rewinded a few times to watch his spot and the chair shaking was so subtle I didn't even see it. Good catch.

Yooooo! my idol that i luv
I love how expressive and ~personality~ the villagers are
10/10
I love how all the NPC’s are there except the tax collector but there’s a light on in the building in the background which implies that he’s still in the house
I just love the player’s expressions, especially the whole body movement right before they get vaporized. It’s just so smooth and so good- enough that I’ve watched this a few times just cause it’s so fun.
It would be a crime against humanity of this doesn't blow up, the animation is so well done!
It really is. I love it
Now whenever I hear Town Night in-game my brain legitimately expects caramelldansen to play at _that_ exact moment
The fact that some npcs used twitch emotes made me laugh harder then it should
Omg all the npcs are so cute!! I love seeing them all vibing in the wide shots
This, is truly the definition of a hidden gem. Couldn't find until Chippy post it on RUclips.
Love how relaxed the steampunker is with their portal nope the hell out of here lmao
aside from all the other stuff that’s been pointed out, i love that the Guide and Zoologist have a table, there’s a ‘nerd’ table, and a drunk table
Oh my goodness, the facial expressions, body language, and insane smoothness of this animation!
You are incredibly skilled!
0:11 hundreds of years and she still has a great party spirit
Every time I rewatch this I notice new details and it just gets better, one can only hope for more of this high-quality animation
The player getting disintegrated by the Martian beam is too painfully accurate.
I know next to nothing about Terraria, but the love that was poured into this animation shines through. I especially adored the way you animate gestures and expression. Their body language conveys so much, and the character interactions were adorable and funny. Overall, loved this.
Welp just know this, martians can and will kick your ass all over the place in terraria.
Spoilers, read at your own risk!
To summarise the video:
The party you saw is a custom event that happens randomly during the day.
Not much to get help there aside from people who cant learn as they play, so they rather ask 1-3 questions everytime (which can be within the span of 1minute) they do something when it can be easily looked up
I fully recommend trying out Terraria, it's worth the cost 100%
I love how it’s basically canon that the players are actively ruining the world for fun. There’s literally no reason too kill the wall of flesh.
Actually, yeah, there's no particular reason to kill wall of flash for anyone really. Except the player who wants to beat the crap out of cosmic eldritch once more, especially with all loot from previous world.
Yeah we are a jerk :v
The wall of flesh is litterally holding back the world evils from taking over the planet
We are the bad guys
I always loved that, the wall is literally the guardian of the world, the fact that we kill it causes an escalation and we just keep killing more and more stuff until inevitably we run out of things to kill, the terrarian saves the world not by being heroic but by being a murderous psychopath driven only by loot
@@BitrateBilly Most “Heroic” actions we take, are just solving problems we caused…
I love the fact that the second the player showed up the guide dipped, Because he of all people knows the players willingness to get stronger.
Why is Witch Doctor and Dryad having a dance-off so funny to me?
I really loved this animation and would love to see more in this style
Seeing the NPCs vibing together filled my heart and put a smile on my face

There is so much detail in this animation and I love it. From being able to see what accessories the player is wearing to how the angler poofs and the steampunker teleports away. I agree with every other comment saying that this is great and hope you succeed in what you do in the future.
After the player appears and everyone is on the screen you can see party girl, witch doctor and the dryad doing... Something with a flask of party
You can actually see the chair that the guide was sitting in shaking a bit on 0:23, implying they bailed instantly and took the cake lmao.

I will infinitely love how to steampunker just dips with a teleporter
Caramelldansen and the town theme actually goes SO hard though, I immediately need more of it. This video is an absolute delight to watch.
I can't believe how clean this animation is, must've taken weeks
I like how the steam punker smiles, puts down a teleported, then leaves the place, very goofy
I love that the steampunker has a pocket teleporter
I love everything about this. It's so fluid and expressive. And how all the character's react is amazing. I particularly liked the complete lack of fear from the Zooologist and that the Steampunker (I think?) just follow's the Anglers advice and leaves.
This is an amazing animation, it's so sad that RUclips hates animators because of the time taken to make animations.
I love all the little details like the guide throwing cake into the air and the furry girl catching it then chewing in the next scene : )
